I continue to be impressed at how close the 'Obsidian 7000' cops a B7K, including its knack of making any other dirt pedal going into it sound awesome. Obsidian 7000 with a (real) Alpha Omega switched on half way through:
All your recordings are very convincing. They sound very well

** Sold **
Get yourself a rosewood neck'd road worn jazz; the new ones have pau ferro boards.
Fender Road Worn Jazz sunburst 2011
Very light weight.Has this really worn in feel and that vintage sound. I recently got myself a De Gier jazz bass so this one has to go.
In excellent condition. It was bought in 2012 by the previous owner. He never came to learn the bass so only used it for a couple of times a year. So it is a kind of NOS.
It has 77 rotosound flats on it. And the rosewood on the neck is beautiful figured.
All gig bag candy included.
A flimsy Fender gig bag is included. But I also have the choice of sturdier cases for some extra cash.
Shipping to UK insured to 442 GBP (500 euro):
Gig bag and neck detached: + 20 GBP
Bass sent as whole in 6/10 Road Runner case: +45 GBP
Bass sent as whole in 9/10 Thomann Case:+55 GBP
Would you like to have it extra insured? Please let me know so I can get a quote.

Fair enough, Michael.
Maybe you should give the punters that already responded first refusal, if you decide to sell.

How easy are they to set up?
Quite easy. I got myself 3 preset chains I can toggle through. Which was not difficult.
However, that was a couple years ago. I am afraid that I need the manual now if I had to change something.

I know, I almost feel like I'm wasting all of those effects. I've got another board that has an MS-60B and a DI box. I have the Zoom set eq>overdrive(swtichable)>SVT>comp and I really couldn't be happier. One button to press!
+1
I wanted a tuner, a VT, a comp and a HPF. But I like my stuff extremely portable.
So I got myself a MS-60B

Aren' t these hand made?
I just bought a custom made bass. Otherwise I'd be all over this.

They are smooth. And have a very high tension.
Compared to Chromes: The roto's are more thumpier en have less highs, me thinks.

Did you try to favour the neck pup over the bridge pup and set the tone control to 50%?
It works for me.

I actually like the sound of my 3.0 the best.
I owned a 3.0, and now I am using a 9.0 for 6 years or so. And I also liked the sound of the 3.0 the best.
