Ive got an Epi T bass. I hate the thing. Yes it does look cool but the neck will never stay straight, the pickups are woolly and indistinct and ive had to place some plastic under the E string to keep it at a height to prevent fret buzz on every fret. It's been set up and re setup but its never been right. It's now gathering dust in the spare room. Having said all that I did have a look at the T bird pro. They look fit. I hope the gibbo corporation have sorted the quality issues.

I've got a Jetglo on order as we speak. I know where to get the black scratchplate from but has anyone any ideas as to where to get the black headstock logo. Ive trawled many places an am struggling with getting a proper RIC version. Please help.

Hello all, I'm Alex, bass player in local punk cover band Complete Control. I play Ricky (main bass). Fender Jazz S1 (number 2 for when the punters are too rowdy) and Precision for less trebly stuff. I play through a Line 6 400 HD with Ashdown 1 x 15 and 2 x10 superfly cabs (i only have a small car!!) My sound is best described as trebly with a hint of drive a la Bruce Foxton and JJ Burnel. Hence the Ricky and Jazz set through SVT modelling with treble and hi mid up high and compressor up around half.
