  1. I think you need the flush template bit, you can then test your template properly against the neck.
I use the Stew-Mac ones but they are quite pricey.

  2. Cheers guys we'll see how it goes, Mrs Scojack is expecting her kitchen to be finished this year !
    On a sidenote ....
I always fancied taking the DB scroll motif and applying it to an electric, just for the whimsy. I have had an idea in mind for years, it's been done before i know but not quite the way i had in mind. That is until i came across the brilliant Luthier Les Godfrey. His designs and work goes into the realms of art....

  3. Thanks to everyone for the good comments on this build. :)
Well she's gone, big bruv is over the moon.
I really liked having that high C..... found it really useful. Was a 5 string low B convert... but fancy one of these myself now
Had no plans for this year but there is this lovely bit of mcEbony cluttering up the shop and taking up valuable workspace..

  4. Fully Loaded !!
Electrics are snugg (JUST fitted ) but full marks to the solderless connectors,.that was painless to fit, only needed to solder the battery earth as it wasn't long enough.
Knobs require a teeny weeny micro allen key, if i ever had one that small i'd have lost it or broken it within 2 minutes ! wtf?

    Cheers W1 <_<
    Hope so Andy .

  5. There is so much i love about your builds Bastav so looking forward to this myself,
Its because your designs are good and you have much talent that i just want to say this ..
I do feel you let yourself down with some of the finer detail , if you would take more time and get even the smallest thing 100% perfect before moving on to the next job... I think your basses would move into a whole new level. :) .
