I've still got an old Manson Merlin fretless from waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy back.

Joined a bit too late for a diary on this but heres what i got .. Been a real doozy this one. I thought i would try some acryllic lacquer as its safer than Nitro...BIG Mistake. It didnt adhere to the wood, subsequent coats didnt adhere to the last coat so dont be tempted. After two attempts I went back to good old Nitro.

ello folks, Old git here, just found this forum. Been playing bass for donkeys years but went into retirement about 15 years ago. Studied Bass at Perth College when i were a young 'un. Built my first bass about twenty years ago, but just recently got back into it. Just completing my first EUB this time. Its something i always fancied doing so the shed got cleared and i started whittlin'. Some of you may know me through an old website on Pangborn that i did eons ago.
