i posted a thread a couple of days ago saying that my amp was crackling alot and cutting [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=54969&st=0&p=544876&#entry544876"]http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;#entry544876[/url] i followd some advice and sprayed some switch cleaner down the inputs i played it today for basically the 1st time since i sprayed and now it just cuts out it dosnt crackle it just cuts out it does it every 5mins and comes back once i turn on/off any help? xxx xx x

is the [b][u]Proper[/u][/b] slap technique when you have a fist and yoyr thum facing towards you or is it when you have an open palm and thumb facing down which 1 should i practise thanks

ok basically my amp is broken here are the ''symptons'' high and low inputs are both high makes a crackles noise when bass is pluged in volume lowers when playing its not the bass or cable cos ive tryed others how much will it cost to get fixed or what is the problem i will really apreciated any help

i know im naive so dont laugh but ive just bought a vox venue amp and on the front there is a part that looks like this EFFECTS LOOP SEND (0) RETURN(0) btw the (0)'s reprenset inputs

Yeah i much prefer a good bassline than a bass solo/shred unless its a well composed solo. some bassists can go fast and still sound good though like john paul jones, flea, Jaco and Others

Has your band ever played a song that offended people or you were asked not to play it again not because you didnt play it right, i meeen just the song itself

This is Basically a Forum where you can tell people about what control settings you use to get your favourite bassists tone i know this thread is a bit random but they are loads of bands that i want to get their tone ie led zepplin RHCP jaco etc

well it was just too much like my begginer bass plus i didnt like the tone and its not to good for slapping

Hi Im nearly 15, i play bass guitar for about 1 year now, i started off on guitar but found it boring i just bought a fender mex p-bass but am taking it back and swapping for an ibanez atk i play funk,rock,punk i listen to everything really metal,jazz,funk........... my favourite bass bands are muse,rhcp,etc.... bye
