1.
I'm trying to sell my Mex Jazz. If it goes this weekend, I'm having this...
Hey grant, I'm in talks with someone about selling my bass. If it doesn't go ill let you know
  2. Hey guys, I'm really trying to up my vocals at the moment and obviously want to sing and play. At the moment I just find myself being able to sing on the easy bass line parts! Anyone know any good practices for getting into more complex playing and singing?? Feel free to post links for videos, articles or anything. Thanks for your help! Greg
  3. Had a few offers. I can say I am open to offers but I'm not knocking nearly £100 off the price!
  4. The £240 isn't a set price, I would be open to negotiation
  5. Sunniest day of the year bump for the sunburst bass!
  6. Have a bump from me! I'm selling my pro 5 at the moment
  7. I have a CIJ version of this, not keen on the bridge but once setup the bass is great! good luck with your sale!
  8. That just reminded me! the zip is sewn either end to stop the strap holder getting through! haha. Since I did that tho, its been great!
  9. Oh yeah, theres a Tobias soft case with it too. Also made really well, one of my favs!
  10. I've come round to the idea of selling my 5-string. It's been a great bass and is really solidly built. It was one of the first basses I owned after borrowing my brothers bass for a year or 2. So, it's a Tobias Pro 5, bought from Music Yo when that was around, and I think it was when Gibson had recently got hold of them. It's got:

A thru-neck build
2x Active soap bar pickups
Volume/Bass/Treble/Pan Controls
Slim lacquered neck
Fully adjustable bridge
It's very solid and has survived for sometime. It's never had any electrical problems or hardware problems. It does have the usual slight markings from playing in ares like the back and front. There is a very slight knock on the neck and head, also a crack of the lacquer behind the G tuning peg. This is not the wood cracking! I truly believe this bass has the body build to last a lifetime! Bought it for about £400 and I'd like to get £220 for it now. I'd rather not deal with couriers and stuff, I live in Guildford, Surrey and would gladly travel within reason for a pick up. Cheers!

  13. Hey guys, I'm not far off finishing my BMus (Hons) Degree and I am looking at going into private tuition. Starting off, how do I get CRB checked? and is it essential? And also I have the same worry as I'm sure a lot of people do....What happens if the student asks me about something that I'm not sure about? And lastly any general tips from you guys? Thanks Bass Bro's, Greg

Studying in guildford at the ACM at the moment, just finishing one course then onto the next. Played in a Status Quo covers band for the last couple of years and, fingers crossed, after my studies will be venturing off out into the world of performing what ever gigs I can get!! Should have a gear list in the signature of this post but I really need to get adding to it Well hello anyway guys, hopefully speek soon!! All the best Greg

  19.
I think he means the bass in the pictures is twisted, I think
not if it's in "AMAZING" condition. Surely he's just referring to it being a p-bass with a jazz neck??
