Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying a second hand black Squier Affinity P/J bass and turning this into a project. I'd love to replace the Squier neck with a maple neck with maple fretboard and block inlays. Aware Allpaints do direct replacement but it's rather expensive at £450.
I was going through fleabay and found this seller selling a vast majority of jazz, precision, teles and strat necks:
Does anyone have any experiences with these? A neck for £86 with 4 different types of measurement options seems abit too good to be true... Looking at his feedback, they're all positive though.

Hi,
Looking to join a Metalcore or similar band based in London. Current bands I listen to are Architects, The Devil Wears Prada, Northlane, Of Mice and Men, Born of Osiris etc. sort of bands.
I've got gigging experience of about 5 years and currently a session bassist for my mates band. Looking to be fully involved with writing, gigging and maybe touring with a band of Metalcore genre!
Currently own 4-string basses but thinking of getting a 5-string.

I shall get that measured today when I'm home from work as this amp is discontinued and not available on Laney's website anymore. A quick Google search tells me it's 10" but I'll make sure what it is tonight

Hey guys,
Looking to shift some stuff in my room as I'm moving and one of the things I have up for sale is an out of production Laney HCMB 30-watt amp.
It's a portable amp that includes [color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]3-band EQ, dual active/passive inputs, CD line in, headphone socket and AC power cord. I've only used it in my bedroom as a practice amp as I have a bigger amp to take to rehearsals/gigs so this Laney amp is no use to me anymore.[/font][/color]
[color=#282828][font=helvetica, arial, sans-serif]It's in great condition and it's just sitting in my room taking up space.[/font][/color]

Sorry to drag this thread out from the grave... @mcnach just wondering how did you get on with this? Did you ever receive the neck and get a chance to play with it?
