7.
I got mine for 400 off of ebay. It was used but it absolutely mint condition. No matter what bass i own i always end up going back to the geddy, it's my main bass and will be for years. Cheers, Dan
I had someone recently describe basses under a grand to me as old bangers, sometimes they can be good but most of the time they're just not that good and a waste of time. Really dont think thats true at all.
 8.
Absolutely love mine and can't really see the day when I want to play anything else. It just seems to be so easy to play and feels so comfortable when holding it. Go buy one, I am sure you will not regret it
Yer I thought they were soooo fast when i played them

 10. What do you guys think of these basses? If anyone owns one id be really interested in your opinions.
 11. Hi, This is my 2006 Musicman stingray which i am selling to make way for a jazz bass and a double bass as I am off to uni. Its in good condition there are a few little dings on the bottom of the body and top of the headstock as you might be able to see in the pictures but its nothing serious. Neck feels really good, kinda silky smooth, plus this thing is built very well as I even took it to Amsterdam. You get the hard case and key that it came with but im gonna have to say that Im not really up for trades on this one, unless of course you want to trade me a jazz and double bass for it, which i doubt :-). £750
 12. Anyone know a good place in the UK to pick up SD pickups in particular the antiquity II jazz pickups?
 13. What is Hip is the tune id like to get my hands on.
 14.
Do you want just the bass parts for the T.O.P stuff? I have a few full arrangements too - no tabs though, just the dots. I've got frankenstein - I'll upload it for you in a minute Rob
Thanks man, i dont mind about dots. Yer with the power stuff it would be really cool if you could help me out with the horn parts they're really hard to get hold of. Cheers
 15. Does anyone know where I can find full tower of power transcriptions and also a full transcription of marcus millers' version of frankenstein? Cheers
 16. What do you guys think of the 60's classic, check out these vids http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsyhxpauaNE...feature=related AND www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=kMKj_4DtlQs. That to me sounds pretty good for what is meant to be an inferior bass to the USA's. Im off to play them.
 17. Im pretty much in the same situation i really want to get a jazz but i have to watch my budget. I hear good things bout the highway 1's tho.
 18.
Actually no, they are pretty cheap, 0055230000 PICKUP ASSY 75 JAZZ BASS NECK RRP £42.99 0055231000 PICKUP ASSY 75 JAZZ BASS BRG RRP £42.99 They said as they are not off the shelf, it can be about 8 weeks delievery. They can be ordered through any Fender dealer.
Thanks for that.
 19.
I love it! it looks cool with the satin finish, the neck needed a lot of tweaking though as i like my action real low,its starting to settle now. It took me a while to get back into the feel of a fender, after using warwick and spectors, but its worth it just for that lovely steely warm tone. Its being pimped next month with an audere preamp and bartolinis. Low price for a u.s. made bass, and it does what it says on the tin.
Nice. Any reason for bartolinis over seymour duncans tho?
 20.
The ones on my highway one jazz are u.s. alnico,im whipping them out next month for bartolinis, ill sell you them if you want.
Got no jazz bass to put them into, but maybe soon... P.S What dyou think of your highway 1 bass?
 21.
I had one and they are fantastic basses. Hardware is the same as US apart from pickups but I spoke to Fender and you can buy the pickups that come in the US 75 re-issue Jazz. They are not off the shelf items so need to be ordered in special but I have the part numbers if anyone wants them. The build quality is superb. Faultless and the neck on mine was not chunky at all. Amazing basses. I do think they are overpriced these days though for a Mexican bass.
Thats interesting about the 75 pickups i bet they're quite pricey though because they're not off the shelf.
