    My main gig bass is a USA Jazz with a maple neck which I have loved. I also have two other maple neck basses - a Fender Jazz Plus and a Matt Pulcinella level 4 which I played for a few years (the one in my signature pic). But lately I've been thinking about how nice it is to play the rosewood. It's a bit more mellow. especially with flats. aargh
