  1. Has anyone compared the new Markbass MB58R 102 Pure or Energy cabs with the old Markbass Traveller 102p? I'm currently using two Traveller 102p's stacked and wondered if the new MB58Rs will give more bottom end considering their frequency range is lower.

  2. Selling my TC Electronic BG250 112 combo with plush padded cover by Hotcovers.

Only used in the house as my practice amp.

The current limiter thermistor has been replaced about a year ago when I noticed it was popping when switched on. Common in these, apparently. But never stopped working. Anyway it's been good as gold since then.

Sadly I need to make some space and it has to go.

It's been a joy to use with the two toneprint controls. I have one as a chorus and the other an octaver. Love it. May end up buying the separate amp head version in the future.

Come and try it in Malvern or happy to drive up to an hour to meet up half way.

  3. For sale is a Squire Precision bass neck I've had for several years. I took it off a nice Squire Precision body and replaced it with a Jazz bass neck 😀 ( I fancied a P bass but like Jazz necks)

The previous owner did a good job in putting a 'Fender' logo on the headstock.

It's in fairly good nick with a few dings difficult to photo. It's straight and the trussrod works fine.

Maybe trade for a fretless Jazz neck.

    I'm in Malvern Worcestershire.

  5. Has anyone bought one of these Chinese fretless Jazz bass necks on eBay?

Is it at best a waste money, or a way for China to get your data?

The price is £89 compared to £250 for an Allparts one. So probably crap.

Just wondering if anyone has bought one.

  6. Fender Japan FSR Aerodyne Jazz Bass.

    Reduced to £895

    Candy Apple Red.

Rare no pick guard model. Cream binding and smoked chrome hardware.

Made only for the Japanese market. Very few of these basses made it to the UK

    Weight 7.8lbs

    Stunning instrument. Sounds great.

Great condition apart from a tiny ding on the front of the body below the fretboard.(see picture) Plus a couple of marks on the back difficult to see. Other marks on the photos are just reflections - really tricky bass to photograph and do it justice.

    Includes Hiscox case

    I’m in Malvern, Worcestershire

Happy to drive to meet up half way within reason

    Could post for £40
