I know the lads at sound Control were flogging thf you bem for £399.99 before they went bump

Just PM me with an offer, and i'll see how close you are to what i'm thinking.

    I'm being sensible, don't expect £389 back.

That price was a few years back, because they didn't sell very well they kept dropping the price. I used to own one. Being digital it has a nasty hum when turned up loud. But does have some nice features and sounds. Just make sure you use a cab without a horn (or turn the horn off) as the hum when not playing can be very annoying.

Also, I hated the delay when you switch between the preset sounds. Not practical to switch sounds between a song.

I've seen them go for between £140-£200 on evilbay!

Good luck with the sale. :)

Speaker appears to be a replacement, although everything eappears in really good condition, looks more modern smooth black job.
I think acoustics used to have Fane speakers, shame it's a replacement. I like Fane's myself. It's also 125watt if I'm not mistaken.

I too like the 360's. If I could find one and had the £££'s I would get one. :)

  3. Danelectro Rumor bass in redburst and gold flake (sparkle) finish. In excellent condition with upgraded Gotoh precision pickups (same brand as Tokai use for their precision hardpuncher basses) which are high output and produce a full (meaty) and very punchy sound. A black thumb rest in the classic position, chrome knobs and a schaller 3D bridge for longer sustain. There are also pre-drilled holes for both pickup and bridge covers.

The bass is super lightweight, so great for the back and unbelievably easy and fun to play. Has a built-in chorus effect which has a seperate jack to the main jack, which can be converted (there are instructions online) into a stereo output, same as rickenbackers!

The neck is straight and the frets have no wear due to it having Ernie Ball flats fitted.

To sum the bass up it looks, sounds and plays better then any precision bass I've played under £500. Read the reviews... and they don't have the upgrades (as listed above)...

  4. Fender MIM P bass 2001 MINT for sale. Gloss black with white pickguard. Neck is straight and true with virtually no fretwear.

    SN: MZ1170941

Not been used in a while, and slimming down of basses forces sale. Looking for £220 no offers, hardcase can also be supplied for additional £20. Collection from North London or can post. Cash on collection or paypal welcome.

P.S sorry for the quality, or lack there of for the pics, I'm no photographer. :)

  5.
Morris as in house-brand of Moridaira Musical Instruments. Pretty acoustics & distribution these days, but back in the day Morris/Moridaira gave the world some pretty decent JapCrap, although I don't think the Hurricane brand was their top stuff. This looks like an OK late 70s/early 80s P copy, the guy says it was a project & I'm guessing that involved fitting the Dimarzio pup, which doesn't exactly fit the scratchplate. Plainly the project didn't extend to realigning the bridge.

I emailed the guy about the Dimarzio pups, and he said he didn't know anything about them. I got the impression he didn't install them, not too sure what the guy did to the bass as he said it was a restoration project! All seems a bit fishy to me.
