Live Underslunky was my first Ozrics album and still my fave. My fave live album by any artist actually.
Strangitude, Erpland and Pungent Effulgent are the high watermarks to check out first otherwise.
I've been really digging their latest, Paper Monkeys this year too (came out 2011). A stripped down band now with Ed Wynne's wife Brandi Wynne on bass and his son on keys + an awesome drummer. Not the album to start with as an introduction to the band but I think it's still quality. Nice that Brandi is using a 5 string on it which suits the bands vibe well I reckon.

The first time I went looking, I was lucky enough to find Pungent Effulgent and Strangeitude as a 2-CD set. It was certainly cheap enough all of...12(?) years ago and I found them both fairly accessible.

Thanks for those two recommendations. I'll check youtube and then decide which to buy. -
Guys what album do you recommend to a newcomer to Ozric Tenticles?

Can't say I know many Geddy's. In fact I can't think of another one off hand.
Oh and found this when I googled: http://www.babynames...m/meaning/Geddy
Hmm thought he was born Gary Lee Weinrib -
Interesting ideas there Karl. I've always hated using straps that had the 'woven' end to set the length, as they seemed to stretch under use. So I've always had one piece straps, made to a set length for me. Although I'm liking the modular ideas, with a center yoke.

I'm working on it
The strap is now on it's was to sei24bass. Sent first class signed for mail. -
Must say I’m quite impressed with this strap. I had none of the ‘too wide at the shoulder’ problems other have cited, but I am very broad at the shoulder. It also laid flat on my back with no bulging that I’ve seen in other member pictures. I know Karl said that individual straps would be customised. Hopefully fixing others problem areas. I used it during a band rehearsal that was around two and half hours long. It was very comfortable to wear and I could set the height to with in 2cm of my usual strap length, so that helped. After a while I forgot all about the strap and never felt uncomfortable or odd in any way. I got a few nice comments from other band members too. Quality was the main comment. The girl singer liked the smell of it!
My only gripe would be the price, not because this strap is not worth it, because it is, but because I’d require three, and for that money I could buy another Bass.
Now, can I squeeze three of these onto a Christmas wish list my wife has started for me? Hmm
SOLVED: Sorry if this is a daft question

Could be wrong, but I see 'Follow this topic' top right of first comment....And if you wish to unfollow it at a later date there's 'Unfollow this topic'
Works for me.
