1. Hello Basschaters

In compliance with the "get that stuff out of here  " command I have up for sale my backup Ashdown Amp. and Mini 15" Speaker.

At [s]£200[/s] £150 I have an Ashdown 300 EVO II head with Ashdown cover. I bought this new and it's been taking up room at the back of the wardrobe for over 5 years or so. The head is in perfect working order and very good condition. It's one of the early ones 'made in the UK'.

At [s]£150[/s] £110 I have an Ashdown Mini 15" Cab. 8 Ohm, 300W, Ashdown cover. Again I bought this new along with the amp, perfect working order, a little scuff on the front and on the speaker cover.

I live in Borehamwood in Hertfordshire. I'd prefer a pickup or meet halfway (within reason) and payment via Bank transfer. Happy to split them up or sell as a pair.

    Any interest??

  2. Hi Basschaters

Doing a bit of a clear out and found a foot pedle I used to use back in the day, believe it or not I used it on vocals then not guitar. It was great for the old Everly Brothers stuff and anything really that needed the vocals filled out with some Harmonies, remember those were the days well before TC-Helicon vocal stuff. I've been playing with it - still works fine on both Guitar and vocals (as long as you remember to select the key you're singing / playing in).

It's from the 70's, no marks or dings and has the original user manual - no box unfortunately.

I'm looking for £55 (posted anywhere in the UK). Payment by bank transfer would be appreciated.

Opps - Sorry guys, £55 Posted anywhere in the UK (Had to EDIT this in just after I posted it)

  3. Went up to pick up the P-Lyte I bought from Mike - great bass, great bloke. Well pleased with the bass

I really like spending time with Mike, he's great to deal with and easy to get on with. Over the time we've done our buying and selling from each other we've become good friends.

    Deal with confidence

  4. Bass / Vocals and Lead Guitar are looking for a Blues, Blues Rock drummer.

We're not looking for fame and fortune we're looking for someone who wants to play (rehears weekly or fortnightly) and generally have a good time.

We have a couple of interesting sets so we're ready to Rock & Roll - once we get a replacement drummer.

If any of you fellow bass chatters know of a drummer looking for a band please let me know.

We're not looking for a dep drummer or someone who's in several bands, we'd like to get someone who's dedicated and wants to be part of a unit.

    Thanks for looking.

    Oggy :)

  5. Hi Basschaterers

I've been having a bit of a clear out and found my old 'Shure Unidyne - Mark 3 - Dynamic Mic', it's a Model 545.

    I've tried it out but I'm getting no-output :(.

Does anyone know where I could get it repaired? I bought it new sometime in the mid 70's, I'd just like to get it up and running for the sake of it really.

I live in Hertfordshire (St Albans / Watford area).

    Any ideas?

    Oggy :)

  6. Just bought the most beautiful 32" Jap. Fender Jazz from Mike, thank you Mike, I just love it.

As always with Mike, whatever you buy is as described if not better - a great BC'er to do business with - highly recommended.

  7. Last week at band rehearsal our drummer decided to play with recording on his mobile phone

This is the result, an oldie that we wanted to try out - great fun, haven't played / sung it in years:
