4. Hi guys, Selling my SansAmp Bass Driver DI. Used, but in very good condition. These units are built like tanks and there's barely a mark on it! These DI boxes are extensively used in West End pits and by many pros for live work. From the website: "Much more than just a direct box, the SansAmp Bass Driver DI is capable of dialing up big vintage tube tones, bright modern slap sounds, gnarly distortions, and all in between. Three different outputs to drive power amps, recording desks, PA mixers, or simply enhance your current rig. Controls include Presence for definition and upper harmonic content; Blend to combine the proportion of direct signal and SansAmp circuitry; and active EQ specifically tuned for bass with 12dB of cut or boost." Online price for a new one is about £170, selling for £130 (+pp or collection from N. London) Please get in touch for any info. Best, Rich Coughlan

8. Hi guys Am upgrading my bass, so forced to sell. The bass was built a couple of years ago from Peter Tyler (http://www.tylerbasses.co.uk/) Paid £1350 for the bass, then bought a Realist pickup (~170 quid) and a very good case (~200 quid) Altogether thats just over £1700, but will let the bundle go for £1400 Will take some better pictures soon! Feel free to get in touch with any questions, if you want to try the bass it is in North London Best, Rich
9. Hi guys Am putting my Superlight EUB up for sale. Its a great instrument, plays great, sounds great, massively portable and light!!! Selling as I have an acoustic double bass which I take out on gigs with me so longer really use the EUB. Check out the website for sound clips and info: http://www.bespokebasses.co.uk/electric.html The bass is in pretty much as new condition. They are built new for £1595 on the website, I am prepared to let this go for £1000 Included in the sale is a soft case (bought from Jerry @ Superlight) the bass is also fitted with a Shadow bridge mounted pickup (as shown in the pics on the website) [NOTE: in the pictures below the pickup isn't installed as I had taken it out to try on my double bass when the photos were taken] Let me know if anyone has any questions or want's to try the bass Best wishes, Rich Coughlan

11. just very quickly made these sound clips (bass straight into Logic, no eq or presets added) first is both pickups on, conventional jazz bass tone but with a bit more oomph (EBS preamp!) http://files.me.com/richardcoughlan1/tkfe8q.mp3 second is just the bridge pickup for Jaco-esque tones http://files.me.com/richardcoughlan1/llgx3i.mp3 did these in a bit of a hurry, if there's any other sounds you'd like to hear let me know and I'll try and sort it asap. The preamp is very versatile and can pretty much configure whatever you like! Best Rich
12. changed the link, hopefully pic will work fine for people now. may post a few sound clips of this bass if i get chance this afternoon. Best, Rich
13.
Awesome! gotta be one of the most versatile basses I've seen, only way you could possibly improve it is 4 more frets but who goes up that far anyway. Flawless.
You're very correct mate. Will post some more pics tonight

16. Hi guys, I'm selling an upright bass, details below: its a solid 3/4 size flat back bass made by Musikinstrumentenfabrik built in Romania believe it to be approx 40 years old fitted with a David Gage Realist pickup currently with a set of spirocores on it supplied with a really decent soft case I bought the bass for £1400 and the case for £250 a couple of years back. Would like £1300 for the bass and case together. Anyone interested? Im looking to get hold of a Yamaha SLB 200 (yamaha's electric upright bass), so would except trades along those lines (probably with some cash going you're way, depending on condition) Feel free to get in touch if you have any queries. Thanks, Rich Coughlan
17. clips may have not been working, they are now fixed. http://www.richardcoughlan.com/Site/ACGDemos.html
18. just quickly ran the bass through logic and recorded some clips forgot to turn the gain up on my interface so they're a little quiet, you'll need some headphones with the preamp and coil switching theres literally hundreds of tones, i just selected some that I feel are "standard" bass sounds http://www.richardcoughlan.com/Site/ACGDemos.html Rich
19. no trades i'm afraid, reason for selling is requirements have changed and don't have the space time to play it as i'm only playing fender jazzes and ps right now. trading for another bass would defeat the object i guess. ive just got the bass out of the case to do these sound clips and im really gutted to be letting it go, its such a nice instrument to play and i hope you'll agree (in about 20 mins).......
20. bass is a 33" scale length, spacing is just shy of 17mm at the bridge some people have requested some sound clips, which im just about to record and will then post them on my site
21. Hi Guys My ACG Finn Single Cut arrived less than a month ago, plays great and I know Alan was particularly pleased with it. However, my circumstances have changed since ordering the bass and now all I really require is Fender passive basses. I wish I had the space/time to play this bass, but would rather see it go to a home that would give it the playing it deserves. I modelled the spec on a kind of hybrid Fordera Imperial Matt Garrison, with a bit of Fender jazz Full details and more pics here http://www.acguitars.co.uk/Gallery/210/ If you have any questions please get in touch, [email protected], or PM me I think £1400 (very near offers) is a fair price for this quality of instrument. I'm sure all the ACG owners out there will confirm that Alan is a very skilled builder, and I know orders aren't currently being taken so this would be ideal for anyone out there who wants an ACG but can't stand the wait! Thanks Rich Coughlan
