  1. Done two gigs so far with it and to be honest on both occasions I was unaware of anything coming out of it unless I lent right into it, but to be fair, both very small stages so standing right up close to my amp so no problem hearing it. Does sound really good up close to the earbox though, detailed and crystal clear which was useful at some points. Having said all that, my overall sound did seem better than usual, clearer and more defined so maybe there is something in it. It just wasn't how I expected it to work I suppose. Next weeks gig is a pub we've done half a dozen times and I've struggled every time with my sound there so that will be a good test.

  2. Just bought a lovely bass from Si. He packed it up really well and sent it out in no time at all. Great communication throughout the transaction too. A highly recommended basschatter, deal with confidence!

  3. Yes the core timber is thicker on mine so the contour looks different. I can't remember what hardware yours had and I don't recognise the bridge. The active circuit and switches have been added I'm sure. I didn't fit them.

  4. I'm not sure what you mean by the top moulding? There were some differences ie knob spacing maybe but both bodies were machined using the same jig.I added that xlr at a later date. The thing that convinces me though are the laminated ebony and maple pickup surrounds I made to mount the humbuckers. I'm sure I can see that in your pictures? By the way yours is made from Padauk which is why it's so red in colour.

  5. I think I can help.I'm 99.9% sure this is one of a pair me and my mate built around 80/81 when we worked in a furniture factory in Greenwich. I still have the other one and the original drawings too.
Not sure that's the original neck though, I don't remember doing anything with diamonds!

  6. I have for sale a Stingray 5 replacement neck made by Status Graphite. It is in very good condition and there are no issues with it. It has a set of fitted chrome tuners that I believe are OLP ones which work perfectly well, and a Hipshot 3 string retainer. There is plenty of life left in the frets. I believe from the serial number that it was made in October 2000.

It will be well packaged for posting, or you are welcome to collect from Chatham, Kent.

Price is £210.00 including uk postage.

Thanks for looking, any questions please message me.

    David

I have for sale a Samson Airline AP1B wireless receiver with Gibson style transmitter bug. This is the dedicated bass version with the EQ shape switch. It;s used but in excellent condition and fully working. This one is on channel E3, I have a second one for sale which is identical but set to channel E2. I dont have the original box but it will be wrapped and boxed securely and posted second class signed for within the UK only.
I would like £85 firm including UK postage for each of these. Any questions please ask
Note that the price is for one receiver and transmitter only.

    Thanks for looking, David

  8. Alessio recently bought my Streamliner with absolutely no problems at all. He arranged his own courier and there was excellent communication by him throughout.
I would highly recommend dealing with him and would not hesitate to do so again. A thoroughly pleasureable experience, so,many thanks Alessio!

  9. Hi,

I bought this from Bass Direct on 14/12/12. It's as new and unmarked and comes in the original box with mains cable and operating instructions. I've used it on 3 gigs but have come to the conclusion it's not for me and would rather move it on and try something else.
Eveything totally working but the master volume is a bit crackly on the first quarter turn. Doesn't bother me, but best to mention it!

Collection is welcome from Chatham or will post within UK for £10.

    Thanks for looking, David.

  10. Hi,

I have for sale a Korg DTR2000 rackmount tuner in nice condition.
These have long since been discontinued so are now quite hard to find.
I have recently sold all my rackmount gear in favour of smaller lightweight equipment so no longer have use for this.. You are welcome to collect from my home in Chatham, Kent or I can post it at cost.

    Cheers, David.

  11. Bought new by me in Jan 2012 for £185 and used probably 3 times max. I'm not gigging much these days and when I do I usually only take one bass so this is surplus to requirements.

This pedal is made in Germany using top quality components and is beautifully engineered. This is a pro piece of kit. For those who are not familiar, it allows you to connect 3 instruments, switch between the three, and route the signal to either of 2 outputs. Have a look at the Lehle website for more technical info and its midi capabilities.
Comes in original box with instruction sheet. Fully working and looks as new apart from a tiny paint chip on the back edge above one of the sockets. Not visible from the top of the unit.

Note, there is no power supply with this as it does not come with one. It requires an 8-20 volt DC supply.

Price; SOLD posted in the UK. or collect in person from Chatham, Kent is fine.

    Thanks for looking,
    David.
