I am looking to purchase a new 4x10 cab. I will plug it to my Gallien Krueger 400rb and also I have plans of purchasing an Ampeg V4BH. My budget is around 500-600 pounds.

Any suggestions?

Ampeg SVX! If you have a near zero latency card and if you spend 5 mins to set up the volums right you can get amazing sounds out of it!

I really didn't liked the quallity of it, the neck felt like a squier cheapo!

I've purchased many things from there! Great service! The last time I bought an American Precision which sucked and I've send them an email that I want to return it and they arranged the whole thing and UPS drop by my place and pick it up and when it arrived back to musicstore I got a full refund!

But why the heck did he striped down a rare bass like this! With the cream finish and the maple fingerboard it would be my dream come true!!

The problem is that I can't find any other bass with a neck that I like 100% like I do with the sting.

And the only thing that I miss from my stingray is that kind of p like sound that comes from a neck pickup!

I want one with HS

Mine is a 2001 model and has only one humbucker. Another option is to add a neck pickup but I don't know where I can find one and I don't know who to trust for the job!

I have a Stingray which I love and I am addicted to the playability of its neck but I also want a bass with a neck pickup so I can come close to a Precision type of sound!

I've seen some new Stingrays with a single coil on the neck position, like this one

But I am looking for a fretted one and with a maple fingerboard. Does anybody knows where I can find one?

I am planning to add a delay and replace the Qtron with a Moogerfooger Low Pass Filter

Compressor is one of the most musical effects out there. It is very usefull to even out your playing in the entire fingerboard. I always have it on in songs where I play in higher octaves.

But I never record with pedal compressors because there are those studio comps that are much better!
