Nirvana's Nevermind and In Utero where recorded with a Ripper! -
I have to switch to pro tools for a while so I'm letting my Motu Traveler go. Purchased recently from Musicstore.de, it is in great condition like new and comes along with all original boxes, manuals etc.
Amazing firewire unit, near zero latency with great Mic preamps. Works great without problems even in Windows Vista.
Price £500! -
nepheid you are right, my mistake!
nash what is funny? the price? -
I am selling this for a friend. Vintage Gibson Ripper Bass L9-S from 1976. Double cutaway Alder body, bold on maple neck, tunomatic bridge with the metal cover, two humbucker pickups, rotary switch!! Everything is 100% original. Has some marks as expected from a well played bass. The frets are still in great shape and hardware os clean, the neck is straight and it plays like a dream!!!. Comes with original hardcase. Pictures to follow
Price £680, grab it before I do -
The placebo effect is great when it comes to the old argument about types of wood used to make instruments. Many people argue that they can hear differences between maple and rosewood boards or alder and ash bodies. I've performed a blind test once to a friend of mine, I was supposed to play my Stingray which has a maple board and then his which has a rosewood. I played mine twice and he went like " Here, here you can clearly hear that rosewood has less trebble!!"
I was misunderstood! What I tryed to say is that the volume of the right channel is louder that the left and that breaks the stereo image.
The panning is great!
Ghosts!
By the way I love this song -
Anything that has some short of originality. It just can't be reproduced

Great music!!!
Only negatives i've found so far is the flat tone of the bass drum and the extreme panning to the right.
Flats!

Here is a clip with my Mustang With Flats Recorded direct to soundcard.
They are webstrings flats and I haven't changed them for almost 2 years now! They still sound great and I play this bass almost everyday!
