Personally I'd go for the neck & headstock binding (my old Supernatural model had this, and the planet/UFO inlays).
Jaydees without the binding never look finished to me.

I picked up a bloody lovely Levinson Blade Texas Standard Strat type guitar (lawsuit headstock model too!) in my local Cash Converters for £179.00. It's my favourite six string.
They thought there was a problem with it as they couldn't get a sound out of it.
They didn't know it had an active circuit & all it needed was a new battery................

Never had a problem with drummers (two of the most professional & reliable musicians I know are drummers) but keyboard players tend to be two faced sh*t-stirring treacherous bastards in my experience.....................

I play with a pick at least half the time, always have & always will.
I use Pickboy Edge Carbon Nylon 1.14mm picks. Very light & very rigid.

I'm not a big fan of Precisions but those Steve Harris signature basses are gorgeous.
I loved the first edition ones with the burgundy scratchplates too - the one I played was fabulous.

I'm assuming it's the f***ing dreadful Mavericks thing that is being referred to & not the Van Halen song of the same name?

The headstock looks like a bit like an Aria in the few seconds you get to see it, can't be certain though.

I simply could never have afforded the two Zons I play if I'd bought them new.
They're both in very good condition but they're certainly not pristine.
I'd prefer them not to have the marks they've got (especially the small but horrendous ding on the top side edge of the fretted one) but at the end of the day it's only cosmetic.

Beggars can't be choosers & all that............

We appear to have some kind of telepathic mind-meld sh*t going on this evening................
