Hello all For sale is my vintage White 1986 Kubicki Ex-Factor. One of the best looking colour Kubicki's ever produced, now extremely hard to find. Serial number 451 The bass is genuinely a brilliant 9/10 for condition, no scratches, no dings A couple of small chips at the rear side of the bass which are in picture 2, barely noticebale 1 beside the battery cover, 1 beside the jack socket Comes with the original hard shell case which is also in brilliant condition for it's age. Early Ex Factors with original HSC are getting very hard to find these days. 18V 6 position original 1st run of Ex Factors. White Ex Factor 1st made famous by John Taylor in 1985/6 See Live Aid & Notorious promo videos Recently professionally set up & once overed at my local music shop - all good The bloke who set the bass up stated "one of the best basses he has ever played" The amazing sound that you expect from all Ex Factors, no hisses, no rattles You'll wait a very long time to find a better condition vintage white Ex Factor! Assurances of an honest & professional sale throughout Please PM any interest cheers Andy

KUBICKI EX-FACTOR FRETLESS - NEAREST TO MINT

Hello all I am selling my 1994 Fretless Bahama Green Kubicki Ex-Factor. It's a post Fender actual Phil made Ex-Factor, 6 position. The bass is nearest to mint you can get for a 2nd hand bass, also considering it's 17 years old!, condition 9.99 / 10.0 To get one better condition you will have to stand in line for a new one plus these basses are £1900 new these days. Comes in a new G&G hard shell case which is what these basses are sold with new, I even have the keys for the case! Reasons for sale - I'm no fretless player, and it is sitting unplayed which is shame for such a magnificent bass. The price is £1200.00 including p&p. This is what I paid for it 2 years ago in the states, plus I had to pay huge shipping & import duty. And since bought / imported the G&G case I am hoping that it will go to a good home with regular playing. No offers of trades please, thank you Assurances of honest & professional sale PM me if interested Cheers

Thanks Silddx It is a very special Kubicki, the custom finishes are more expensive than the standards. The condition of the bass is as per new, the case as per new. My Bahama green one which I am keeping is also in the same condition, it was EXTREMELY difficult deciding on which one to sell I have sentimental attachments to the Bahama one, so that's the one I would always keep Interested players do not hesitate to ask any information all the best

Hello all, thanks for the great comments. I've had no dealings with the Key Factors at all, you do see them come up for sale on ebay every so often, the Phillipines seen to sell a lot for some strange reason. Yeah you would expect to pay from £600 upwards for an Ex-Factor and that'll be a Fender Custom model, my black one is the only new one I own paying full price for it, £1600 if I remember. The red one was probably the most expensive 2nd hand at £1200, from Ed "Murder To Deal With" Roman, I REALLY wanted a red one at the time so was blinkered to price & ER's dubious sale. This will probably pee off the fretless heads but the natural I got last year for the best steal of all.....£600, it's imaculate. Phil's Kubicki is still making them by hand, bass by bass, I would recommend anyone who really wanted one to email him and get your name on the waiting list. It's worth paying the extra to get a new one, just the sheer pleasure of owning a new one of these awesome basses. None are for sale, I'd rather sell a kidney than sell one of these!

From one JJB Shuker owner to another, they're superb aren't they! Congratulations on the purchase, I'm really loving my one

Hello all as promised (serveral weeks ago) here's some pictures of of my Jon Shuker JJ Burnel signature P-Bass. (been offshore & had man flu....each as apealing as the other) It's a fantastic bass, well worth the 8 months wait. I can only say that anyone fancies a new P-Bass that is a bit special and has a bit extra delivery GO FOR ONE OF THESE! If you're not a Stranglers fan he can do many variations of the bass, even your own name or design on the headstock. Jon told me the Kaiser Chiefs bassit ordered one of these after getting a try of JJs at T-In-The Park, same bass except white body & thinner neck A master bass maker & a true gentleman. Comes with a great Shuker custom case (pictured) and a photo certificate of JJ, personally signed by Jon & JJ The back of the headstock is signed & dated by Jon Enjoy Andy

ME! I got mine about 3 weeks ago after 8-9 months wait. It is a monster, very agressive as you'd expect, what a sound !!!, very wide neck JJ must have banana hands, as per the Shuker speil JJ advised all the things he'd like & doesnt like from his old Precisions. It's lighter (doesnt feel it) and louder with extra wound pick up coils. Love this bass to bits. I have had several 70s JJ type Precisions, this is far superior, you can really feel the difference. Cant wait to gig it, pitty I am between bands at the mo. I'll post pictures on Basschat next week Are you thinking of getting one?

Forgot to add that this bass played on TTD's Neither Fish Nor Flesh album and is seemingly in a TTD music video from that time buggered If I know which one. It wont tell me....... A superb bass, you always get a lot of people hanging around after gigs wanting to speak to you about it.... ....most of it welcome!

Loving your Pub bass, stunning, how long did you wait for it? What aspects of the bass are unique to you / your request I received my Shuker JJ Burnel signature bass 3 weeks ago, 8 months wait but worth the wait, it's all powerful!, a growler, the finish is perfect. The only special request I had was making my daughters birth date the serial number. Jon Shuker is a master craftsman, a topper of a guy too.
