1. Hi XGSJX Yeah Duran's John Taylor. The JT-84 is an awful bass, worst Ive ever played, the package is good with case, strap etc Put it this way John doesnt even play the bass that he designed. It's the most basic Peavey with a paint job. It feels so cheap it feels like a guitar hereo guitar! There's only a 100 ever produced, so worth keeping for collector value, + 'Duran fan I would never gig this bass.

4. Hello all I've got something to flash.... Here's a picture of my Silver bodied Steinberger XL2, 1 of only 30 EVER produced. The serial number is GC 20 of 30. These were produced for the Guitar Centre in the US hence the GC serial number. It was previously owned by Terrence Trent D'Arby, who gave it to his guitarist Dave Judy several years later who I bought it from in 2007. It looks amazing, it sounds as you would expect from a XL2, brilliant condition, one of my many pride & joys. Enjoy
5. Green Precision Picture posted on Gear Porn page.......
6. Hello all Here's a picture of my green precision, I got it on ebay recently. I dont know much about it, no serial number It's definitely a respray, but it's an EXACT copy of JJ Burnel's one that he used in the early days of the Stranglers, right down to the thumb rest, plays brilliantly (it's not THE JJ bass as he's still got his and it's completely unplayable) A nice bass, especially for the Stranglers fan that I am. It's also good to have a bass that is road worn, chipped with belt rash...pick up and play.

8. Hello all, my 1st posting on Basschat. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Shuker JJB1 last week, 8 months waiting list. It's incredible, everything that his 70s Precision should have been, lighter with extra wound pick-ups for more growl. 1 thing I should mention is that JJ must have hands like shuvels, it's a seriously wide neck. Another work of genious from Jon Shuker, it's a seriously well made bass.
