1. Hi guys, Here I have for sale a bass synthesizer effects pedal combo: - Boss SYB-5 Bass Synthesizer Pedal (Retails at £129 here: http://www.gak.co.uk...boss-syb-5/1261) - Boss FV500-H Volume/Expression Pedal (Retails at £65 here: http://www.gak.co.uk...-impedance/1306) - PLUS the stereo cable (£5 from Roland) which allows you to use the FV500-H as an expression pedal that changes the frequencies of the synthesizer (shown in the demos below). Asking for just £100 for the both of these. Both pedals have been used as part of my touring pedal board. The FV500-H looks as new and the SYB-5 does show some signs of cosmetic wear. This does not effect its playability however. This combo kicks out some serious bass tones as seen in the official Boss demo here: And another demo here: Can meet anywhere in London to do a deal or can post for an additional £6. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you require pictures/ more information. Many thanks.
2. Hi guys. I'm a recent First Class BA Hons Professional Musicianship graduate of a well known UK music institution and am now offering my expertise and knowledge to aspiring pro bassists of any age and level. I have toured nationally and internationally and have performed at some of the most prestigious events/venues in the UK including the Isle of Wight Festival, Wireless Festival and the 02 Arena. (Please visit http://www.youtube.com/MikePrinceBass to view my performances). Friendly and informal bass lessons will be at my home in FINCHLEY, NORTH LONDON, and will be £20 PER HOUR. Lessons can be shaped around the student's requirements (i.e. learning a difficult track note for note, etc) or we can start from basic music theory and progress to applied theory and technical development. Techniques I cover include finger-style, tapping, slap, alternate tuning/tenor bass (a la Stanley Clarke) and the use of harmonics/chords. If the student is interested in improving theory I teach scales, arpeggios, modes, circle of fifths, harmony, improvisation, composition, walking bass and sight-reading. I can also advise students on the best way possible to make a sustainable living it in such a competitive industry and provide the student with suitable contacts. If you would like any more information please don't hesitate to get in touch by sending me a private message at any time. Many thanks and kind regards, Mike. 5. Hey guys, hope you're all keeping well! I've already posted these videos on Statii and the Statii Facebook page but just thought I'd post on here to share with the entire UK bass community that I've started a Youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRiCJcRfZAd7YZB1faExlWA?feature=watch)and will be posting frequent videos, all of which are/will be played on a Kingbass. I've already posted a couple of videos (links below), two of which are tracks you might be overly familiar with (!) with more on the way! Let me know what you think, feedback is always appreciated. Cheers! 6. SOLD pending the usual: FENDER MODERN PLAYER JAZZ BASS - £300 Currently retailing at £401 here we have a beautiful Fender Modern Player Jazz Bass in transparent black with a rosewood fingerboard, alder body, 20 jumbo frets, C shaped maple neck, vintage-style four saddle bridge with brass saddles and dual modern player hum-bucking jazz bass pickups. A range of fantastic tones that this bass produces can be seen in the official demo here: This bass has been used a handful of times and the only noticeable mark is a small chip on the top of the headstock - purely cosmetic though. The bass also has a fantastic action and comes with a great quality 'Guitar Research' padded gig bag. You're more than welcome to come and try this bass before you pay cash (I'm located in South Shropshire, UK) or you can pay by cheque/online bank transfer. If paying by cheque or bank transfer the bass will be shipped (and insured) AFTER funds have cleared for £30. If you require more pictures or info please don't hesitate to get in touch. Many thanks.

SOLD

Here for sale I have a Boss GEB-7 bass EQ Pedal. I have only used the pedal a couple of times (and I really do mean, 2 gigs!) and it comes with original box and operating manuals etc. There are a few slight marks on the pedal from where it was apart of my pedal board, but apart from that it works perfectly and is near mint condition. The cheapest I found this online was at GAK for £85 (http://www.gak.co.uk/en/boss-geb7/1271) so my asking price is ONLY £40 inc. postage. I can accept cheque or direct bank transfer as method of payment, or cash on collection from BRISTOL. Many thanks

11. Hey guys, Here's a video of the performance that Blink TV recorded and broadcast on the Sky Arts Channel (at some point). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nN1f2cTwHEI Enjoy!
12.
Backing tracks..?
Ah right yeah, sorry, I've never heard it put into that expression before. I'm sure in the near future we will audition keyboard / synth players but for the time being using a HD24 machine is a fantastic and convenient way to add those synth parts when performing the shows we do. Hope you enjoyed the videos anyway.
13.
Know what you mean about the audio...hopefully you can get the better feed on the DVD It sounds like you have to fly in stuff to augment the sound? (not got a problem with that as I have suggested a little project do the same as it saves so much hassle etc etc and no less costs..) Sounds a very nice gig to get.
Thanks for that. However, and please excuse my ignorance, but i'm not entirely sure what you mean by "having to fly in stuff to augment the sound"? Could you possibly explain what you mean? Thanks
14. Hey guys. Just thought I'd share a few clips of me performing with Laura Steel last Friday at the Isle of Wight Festival. We opened up the Big Top Tent on Friday night and it was a phenominal gig! I apologize in advance for the 'rough' video and audio quality - unfortunately the show was recorded on a Flip video camera by Laura's PA. There is a proper DVD version that was recorded and broadcast on Sky 1 and Sky Arts channel, so we're just waiting for that DVD to come through, then I'm sure they'll be up on Youtube within a couple of weeks. Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnW5soPxawY...feature=related Backstage antics! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWL_qh8geqs...feature=related A track called 'Criminal': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCF9Y82DHeg...eature=youtu.be And to end the set, a cover of Bruno Mars' 'Just The Way You Are': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCMxbCmhH4A...eature=youtu.be As more tracks will be uploaded to Youtube i'll post them up here. Feel free to leave any feedback / comments - would be good to hear what you think! Cheers and all the best Mike
15. Hey guys, It is with real regret that I'm having to put a feeler out for my early 90's Status Graphite Empathy Matrix (Headed). I bought the bass about a year and a half ago and it has done me really well. The bass has a 3 band active EQ (running off 2x 9V batteries) with mid cut/boost switch which kicks out a phenominal tone. The body consists of the rare 11 piece construction with a cocobolo / rosewood (not sure which) front AND back, walnut tone blocks and of course the graphite thru neck. I had to have the nut replaced as the original one came off as I was changing the strings the first day I got it. The replacement is however excellent (made of bone) and was crafted and set in at Waghorn guitars, a great luthier in Bristol. There is no major cosmetic damage apart from a few scuffs on the back of the bass and a slight hairline crack on the back of the headstock which appears to come from twhere the tuning pegs are screwed into the carbon fiber - purely cosmetic though. The bass comes with it's original Status hard shell case and the serial number is 3911 (early / mid 90's?) Price wise I'm looking for £1050 for it. You're more than welcome to come and collect from Ludlow Shropshire, or I am able to post to anywhere in the UK at the buyers cost (which i've yet to investigate into, depending on weight when packaged, if you want it delivered express or even insured for peace of mind). If you'd like anymore information or pics of the bass please don't hesitate to ask. I apologize for the sh*te photos that are up at the minute - I will post some better pics up as soon as I can. Thanks and all the best Mike
