3. Price now dropped to £1150! Here's the conclusion from an Ed Friedland (Bass Whisperer) review: BOTTOM LINE The Fender American Vintage ’75 Reissue Jazz Bass is a wonderful example of a legendary species. The overall construction, tone and vibe are right on the money. If you want true ’70s Jazz Bass tone, look no further. If you’re looking to create your own Marcus “monster bass”, the ’75 RI is the perfect platform—you’re only a Badass II bridge and onboard pre-amp away from having a classic mid-’70s funk machine. You can read the full review at: http://bassemporium.com/?p=2196
4. Indeed! You can definitely get the Marcus tone. The East preamp gives it that fat bottom end and sweet top end!

6. There's been quite a bit of interest so far but no takers yet... If you're interested you're welcome to pop round for a cuppa and have a 'no obligation' tryout. I think you'll love the tone!

9. Hi Guys, At this stage i'm not really looking to split it up. Though it pains me to do so, I'm selling due to some financial difficulties. Tom
10. This is an awesome rig! It’s loud, punchy, with an amazing set of features, and the rig fits in the boot of my car! TC Electronic RH750 class D bass amplifier: 750w into 4ohms, tuner, 4 band semi-parametric EQ, compressor, 3 programmable channels. TC Electronic RS210 + RS212 cabinets: 400w RMS power handling each, lightweight, you can stack vertically or horizontally. TC Electronic RC4 footswitch: gives you channel switching, mute and tuner display. TC Electronic cab covers, plus gigbag that takes head, footswitch and leads. All original leads and manuals included. Top quality custom-made Speakon leads also included. The RH750s programmable presets are great, which enables you dial up three settings each controlling the EQ, compressor, tubetone, tweeter tone and preset level using the footswitch. The RH750 can power up to three 4x10 speaker cabinets if need be! I've found that the RS210 and RS212 has provided me with a massive sound even in large venues. The RS210 provides punch and detail while the RS212 is also punchy but with extra bottom end. More details can be found here: http://www.tcelectronic.com/rh750/ and here: http://www.tcelectronic.com/rs210/ The rig is 18 months old, all mint condition, with only a few tiny scratches. Collection only from Newhaven (near Brighton), or will consider driving within the south-east to the buyers house. No Trades Please. 11. Thanks very much for the advise BassBod. I was scared of shattering the valve into a thousand pieces but it turned out to be a cinch in the end! Thanks BrenSabre, I took your advise and went for a JJ ECC83-S.. it's sounding fat!
12. I've just ordered a Harma ECC83 Retro Cryo (12AX7) valve from Watford Valves to go in my SWR Redhead. It'll be interesting to see what this sounds like...? Just had a look inside the amp though, and there's a CINCH damper/shield around the valve, which I can't remove. Does anyone have any experience of removing the CINCH and the valve and then replacing the valve and putting back the CINCH!?
13. Hi matejj53, I am interested in swapping my RS210 for your RS212. Is your RS12 the old or new finish? Do you have photo's? Hope to hear from you soon, Tom
14. Is it one of the new Redheads (2008 onwards)? If it is, can you send me a photo to [email protected] Thanks!
