1.
For Sale is my 2007 Fender US Vintage 62 Reissue Jazz Bass. This is already on Ebay as I completely forgot to put it on Basschat!!

It weighs in at 4.2kg (or 5 Foot 9" for those of you still in imperial) and is a stunning example. It's just starting to "turn" colour in to a gorgeous yellowy white (don't you just love nitro :) !!)

I can't find a mark on it apart from a couple of discolourations right by the nut where the bass had been hung on a wall hanger by the previous owner.

It's strung with La Bella Deep Talkin flats and has just been fully serviced and set up by Trevor at Ripley Guitars for a rather painful amount of money!

I've just taken ownership of a Fender Sting Reissue and the project I was intending to use this for has folded before it started sadly :) It doesn't come with the original case or candy (apart from the lead and hang tags).

This truly is a gorgeous bass and if I could justify keeping it I would.

I am looking for £900 for this beautiful bass and would rather a pick up or meet half way but I'm willing to post for cost.

I would consider a P/ex for a new Series Fender US P Bass 4 or 5 string (preferably Sunburst and rosewood) plus cash my way or a trade for a Rickenbacker 4003.
Developed by Clarence Parsons from The Byrds it raises the b sting a full tone and is operated by pushing down on the neck of the guitar which moves a series of levers connected to the strap button.

Lets you play pedal steel sounding licks on a telecaster, really neat but quite heavy.

  6.
Hey nice one. That means mine has a wee brother on basschat. :)

It was that picture that made me want one !!!!!

Top draw and an elite group of Bass Chatters :)

  7.
Apologies to the mods for the double posting, but this might get a bit more exposure.

My Classic 450 is giving me what I need sound-wise, but I'm playing a variety of basses live now (inc the fretless and the acoustic), and so I'm doing a lot of knob-twiddling*, so the logical step forward for me is the RH450.

Anyone have a RH450 they'd want to trade for the same-sounding-but-simpler Classic, and trouser a wedge of cash into the bargain?

    Cheers,

    Muzz

  9.
As my new Shuker 51 Precision is ready for collection I cannot see me using my Candy Apple Red Lakland Duck Dunn (aquired from fellow basschat member floydpepper a couple of months ago).

It has a fantastic neck and sounds as great as it looks !

Taking 4 basses to gigs would be overkill, even for me so someone else may as well enjoy it!

I have recorded with it but not gigged and it is therefore in exceptional condition as is the custom Lakland gig bag.

Comes with original sale receipt in 2007

Usual spec and can deliver to most places down M1 or around M25 or NE/NW England and WMids

Cash or paypal acceptable so let me know !!

A bargain at £575 ono or it off to the dreaded bay !!!!

Any questions either pm me or ring 07920 284993
