    SOLD 1955 Fender Champ Lap Steel

    A great lap steel now 66 years old along with the original tweed case, both in good condition.
    The pick ups are very collectable and many examples had them removed in the 50's and put into Fender Esquires to convert to Telecasters apparently.
    The green baize on the underside is all on good condition and the serial number is 6242 for anyone wishing to explore the age and model.

    Sadly selling to fund unexpected purchase of another bass from Walshy (as I have only had this for 4 months)  and it is a delight to play and has the benefit of the Custom Shop pick up giving it the classic P Bass sound.
     
    Bass has rosewood board which  complements the sunburst finish and tort pick guard, and is in outstanding condition, it seems they rarely come up for sale on the used market.
     
    Included is an immaculate Tolex case
     
    Price is £925 and sensible offers considered
