  1. Yes, a very nice instrument. The turquoise model is even rarer to find. Pretty sure they play and sound the same though!
  2. Hey everyone, I'm selling this 1st generation Yamaha RBX JM6 John Myung Signature Bass. It's a beautiful instrument that I have very much enjoyed owning and recording with. I'm just not using it regularly enough or doing six strings justice and it should go to a good owner that wants it more. It has a deep and snappy tone (depending on taste - there are some options here) that cuts nicely and the action is fast and low. It's a bit of a semi-rare collectors item these days. This one is in good condition. A couple of minor dings but nothing significant. I'm after £500. I'm open to reasonable offers - PM me. I'm based in West London for collection. Would rather not post this beauty, it's somewhat substantial! Cheers, Adz Specs and Pics below: Neck: Bolt On Colour: Ruby Red (one of only two variants) Body: Alder, with maple veneer Fingerboard: Ebony Neck: Maple Frets: 24 Bridge: BPX-6C Gold plated Pick Ups: Two double coil bars - Active Pots: Gold-Plated Volume, Balancer, Treble EQ, Mid EQ, Bass EQ [attachment=249829:IMAG0481.jpg][attachment=249830:IMAG0484.jpg][attachment=249831:IMAG0487.jpg][attachment=249832:IMAG0491.jpg][attachment=249833:IMAG0486.jpg]

  5. BUMP Back on the market now - eager to sell. Don't try to haggle please, I won't budge as i need to afford a decent replacement. One strong, sturdy, great sounding, grinding, reliable, slightly battle scarred, gigworthy, thumpin' bass guitar. 4 rotosound Strings, black matt finish, silver riveted scratch plate, rosewood fretboard, active electronics, musicman stingray shape and hardware. Hard as nailz - especially on the road. Get some now - it must go! Adz
  6. Hello all, A very solid and reliable active bass, gigged around the country playing metal, never once let me down. Will be sad to see it go, but recently I've been using 5 strings and it's been nestling in it's case. Some superficial damage to paint on black back of neck, easily repairable, a little wear on scratchplate from fingers and minor chip on side of top horn. Otherwise still in top condition, no real damage, never been repaired or tampered with in anyway. A brutal sound, lots of Musicman grind, and now unavailable in shops. Looking for £350, will consider a trade for a good 5string model, interested in good looking BC Rich 5s or Fender 5s. Would sooner give it a good home than send it to lie in a shop. I'm based in West London. Pictures to follow sooner rather than later. You can see and hear the bass in action on www.myspace.com/kalebuk Cheers B.O.D
