1. Hi all,
Its with great regret i'm putting this bass amp up for sale.
I brought this approx 3 yrs ago from new as a back up for my Swr Stereo 800 poweramp & grand prix preamp.
(In other words my big gig rig amps).

To be honest its only been used at home to get some sound settings & a couple of times in rehearsals. Its never been gigged, such is the reliability of my Swr setup. I feel that this is being wasted in my possession, as i'm not doing many big gigs to justify having this as an unused back up amp.

Infact when powered up it still has that new smell, its been racked since i've had it & it hasn't even got any dust on the fans or any marks on the chrome face. It is in, as new condition !!!!

I'll be selling this with a kinsman 4u rack.

I would prefer a straight sale, but i'm willing to use this as trade bait plus cash your way for an Swr Headlite, as my long term goal is to downsize my big rig.

I must state when i did rehearse with this amp, i used my golly junior cabs & it sounded awesome, with no woolly sound whatsoever, it had a fat bottom end & a very clear top end. It was testing it with these cabs that made me decide to buy this amp in the first place. I was that impressed with the sound.

I'm looking to get £290 collected or £310 posted.

Sorry about the poor quality pics, i found it really difficult to photograph because of the reflective nature of the chrome face. But rest assured the amp is in mint condition, both cosmetically & internally.

I'm not sure whether this was made in china or the Uk but for prospective buyers i will let them know.

As usual any questions please pm me.
Thanks for looking.

2. Queen was the first band that i really loved & considered myself to a fan of when i was growing up.
I brought all of their back catalogue albums when i had my first payments of pocket money after hearing the song "Killer Queen" on the radio. Then i subsequently brought most of their future albums almost on date of release.

I was also a great fan of John Deacons bass playing & the bands songwriting abilities.
The tribute concert was an example of all the bands & stars that the band influenced.
Although i did think they lost their way for me after the "Jazz" album. That was their last album i brought.

I was lucky enough to catch them live at knebworth which i believe was one of their last uk gigs.
I thought the documentary was thoroughly entertaining.

3. Hi all, Up for sale is a Custom made Flightcase by Castle cases which i had made to fit my Swr Son of Bertha 1x15 bass cab.
This is in (mint condition) as it was only used less than handful of times before the band split up.
The Bertha cabs are long sold & most of my gigs are now local ones & i'm using 2 x10 cabs which will easily fit in a car.
Its currently sitting in my kitchen, still in perfect condition, as a home for one of my Swr goliath junior (2 x10) cabs.

All the castors are in great condition & has 2 lockable wheels.
The internal dimensions are 23.25" wide x 20.25" high x 18.5" deep.
I believe these will also hold an Eden 2x10xlt cab perfectly as well.
I've just found out this will also hold the Ebs Proline 2x10 & the Proline 300 1x15 cabs too.

The interior foam is still in as new condition.
I think the pics will explain the finer details, but please ask if you have anymore questions.

I've now reduced it to £110 delivered by courier, mainland uk or £95 ovno collected.
This is now less than half the price i paid when brought new, if you're willing to collect.
I'm in Birmingham nr the city centre, just off Junction 6 M6
Get your precious Swr cabs protected at a great price.
Thanks for looking.

4.
I've already got one, rarely use it because of the weight (and my gigs are all pretty small scale) but I'm still thinking about two of these..with the Stereo 800 power amp....hmmmm. Where would I put it!?
Mmmm!!! good lord two of those powered by a Stereo 800 poweramp, that would be bass heaven, if you had the transport for them.

5. I would be interested in knowing what the difference in sound is between the two cabs are once you've replaced the speakers JPJ.

As a fellow Swr cab users, just in case i ever needed to find some replacement speakers for my goliath juniors.

6. What a fantastic deal for 2 fantastic cabs.

I've used this combination of cabs by Swr for a number of years & together these two together will cover all the (pardon the pun) !! bases for all types of music.

Good luck with sale of these, shouldn't think they'd be around for too long.
