Hi all! I thought I would post a quick introduction! I've been playing bass for around 20 years, but I have recently only just started playing again after a break over the last couple of years. There were many reasons for taking a break, the birth of my son, my old function band calling it a day...the usual. To be honest it was never intentional, I just gradually stopped playing to the point where I would go several months without touching my bass and I didn't really miss it either. A couple of months back my function band got back together, I started learning new material, practicing daily; it completely revitalised my love of playing the bass! So now I am back, slowly trying to build some new routines, and getting back to practicing consistently. After selling a lot of my gear midway through my break, I have recently purchased a cheap TC Electronics rig from Anderton's (BH800 and K410 cab). The band has a few gigs lined up at some reasonably sized venues, and for the price they are currently for sale at, it felt like a no brainer! No doubt as I get more and more into playing again I'll start looking for an upgrade (I miss my Aguilar head...), but for now it will do the job. I look forward to hopefully adding some value and contributing around the site. Thanks, Andy

Hi All, For sale is my Barefaced Compact cab in good condition and I have owned it since new. As you can see from the attached pictures there is a couple of scuffs on the front of the cab from gigging and as standard with many early Barefaced cabs, 6 of the 8 feet have fell off (5 included with the sale of the cab...never did find the 6th). This cab served me well through my years in a function band but I'm not playing as much now and I have been downsizing my rig. I am looking for £275 and would prefer a collection (based in Leicestershire), however, I am willing to courier at buyers expense. I'm sure most of you are aware of the specification of this bass, but just in case I've copied a brief description below. Hi all, Up for sale is my Barefaced Midget-T that I have owned since new! It's been a great cab, especially paired with my Compact, but I'm looking to downsize as I am taking a break from bands and not playing as much at the minute. It's in excellent condition, one or two minor scuffs on the cabinet itself and the handle is scuffed, but other than that it's in great condition (as you can see from the pictures). I got heavily into Hip Hop about 5 years ago and since then Its been a great journey discovering a ton of a great new artists! It now accounts for a good 30% of my music collection and I can only see that increasing. I love everything from 80s/90s (Eric B & Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, Mobb Deep, Wu Tang Clan (& Solo albums), Nas, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Outkast, Dead Prez) the new artists blowing up now (Kendrick Lamar, Ab Soul, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Big KRIT, Danny Brown), groups (J5, Wu Tang, Blackalicious, Latyrx, The Roots) to everything in between (Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, Jay Z, Common, J. Cole, Immortal Technique, Kid Cudi, TI, Wale). I could go on all day! I find hip hop gets written off by a lot of people before even giving it a chance, everybody still assumes its always about guns/drugs and money as that's what they hear on the radio!
