1.
The chain is complete! I reckon you bought it from me then sold it to Trev...

All that we need now is for the owner prior to me (bassist from Proteus) to come forward then we're almost back to the CC guy!!!
well if it was for Kevin MacMichael he died in 2002, i assume it was coz the bassist from CC wasn't called mac!

yeh alex i still got the original gold hardware, just in case i need to put it back on, lol

  2. i got this off a BassWorld member about 4 or 5 years back, i think i paid around 300£ for it and then had paul strip the paint and replaced the truss rod & fret board. after a few PM i believe this is the same bass that Cornfedapache had sold on ebay about a year before i got it and he has told me it was built for the cutting Crew!

  3. i buy Status hotwires 30-90 in the bulk pack for both headed & headless, not had a problem, before that i used DR hibeams , and have found the hotwires to be very similar , but a lot cheaper.

The down side of calling Status is last time I ordered a box of stings , i accidently ordered a streamliner ;-)

  4. if i recall the guy whos company make them for Status died, and the headless tuners have been in short supply for a while (I dont think Status will sell them on their own now). ABM make the tuners but i can only see silver on their web site.

  5. I use a Superfly head with the DI output going in to my Yamaha 01x desk, I quite like the Superfly as i can save different EQs/Inputs/Comp for each of my basses, also with the combination of the Superfly & 01X i can save off and recall set up should i need to go back to something.
