Congratulations!

I’ve  gone back to 4s for some time now, since re-emerging from just about giving up. 
 

I like it. Simplicity and I’ve not needed a 5 in the band environment or when practicing.

I used to view a 5 string as the ‘standard’.

No I've not gone for a signed one. It isn't important to me and I believe the signature is screen printed anyway so not like a real original.

I can struggle with a lot of knocks on a bass. I always look after mine and the odd ding is inevitable but some basses seem to get neglected by my standards.

That's a Buell 1125 CR, Cadwell a few years back. I'm presently riding a R1200RS Beemer. Love it!

I hope you're pleased with it. Mine was a bit of an impulse purchase. I don't have a P bass at the moment and Yamaha build quality is good so fingers crossed.

I do have an even number OCD thing. I can't relax with music volume or car heating set to an odd number etc.

Basses? I'm about to hit 5. Thanks for reminding me.....
