  1. Glad to know this was helpful. I have more backing tracks / tabbed bass videos in my channel in case you find these videos useful. Greetings!
  2. It´s experiencing a nice revival lately since being used in the soundtrack of a movie released last year, that is why younger guys pay attention to this seemingly forgotten track Cause nowadays platforms tend to favor vertical videos of under 1 minute in exposure and most important THE AUDIENCE and their apparently revealing short attention span is fully going with the tendency. Like it or not, the major point of taking the time to upload a video playing is getting seen by others. So: Make a regular full cover on YouTube and get about 2,000 views with luck, or make a short vertical video of the same tune and get +40,000 and counting like this exact video got on TikTok as you can see: I am an oldhead who grew up listening to full albums so needless to say I am not particularly happy with the way things are turning into in social media and music videos right now, but I am aware enough to recognize I am part of a minority instead of negating the overwhelming truth. I do other type of longer videos where there is no way to fit what I want to do under 1 minute though, but this is not the case. It´s something worth a longer discussion if you are passionate about music but I hope my short answer kinda serves your question. Greetings!
  3. Hi there low frequency fellas. I recently sat and put myself to make one more of this type of videos I actually shared here before. This is some sort of compilation playing around some basslines for a couple of tunes from the well known French duo Daft Punk, aiming for some of the most popular tunes of the band or at least some of the ones where the basslines are somehow relevant. I hope you enjoy, thanks for listening/watching!
  4. Hi there guys! More tabbed videos here, now with this rock and roll classic As I did in previous videos of this type, I included tabs on screen of what I am playing in case those ones searching for tutorials / how to play etc also find this cover useful. Thanks for watching!
  5. Hi there guys! Getting back at these short bass videos, this time with the powerhouse opening track from Rage Against The Machine self titled debut album. As I did in previous videos of this type, I included tabs on screen of what I am playing in case those ones searching for tutorials / how to play etc also find this cover useful.
  6. Hi there guys! Latest video in my channel, including TABS of what I am playing to this The Cure classic. (Yes I know it´s originally played on Double Bass, this is not meant to be a perfect translation to electric bass, but I believe it works as well) Greetings and thanks for listening!
  7. Hi there low frequency fellas, here is a humble cover of this cool bassline featured in this late 90s Jamiroquai track featured in the "Synkronized" album (also remembered by some people cause of being used as the soundtrack of the Godzilla movie) As I usually do with the stuff I post here for those interested in the notes played I included the TABS on screen while playing. Thanks in advance for listening Greetings!
  8. Hi there fellas, I was just going back on some early nu metal tunes lately and jamming along some of these songs I never really sat to mearn back in the day when they were more popular since I was a drummer back then and still didn´t play bass, but nostalgia has been hitting me hard lately So here is a song from the first Deftones album "Adrenaline" (Including basstabs on screen as I usually do with the stuff I post here for those interested in the notes played). Thanks for listening Greetings!
  9. Hi there low frequency fellas! Just sharing my humble take on this bassline that came back to my mind from my teenage days the other days listening to some tunes on random when this popped out, which I figured out I never sat myself to learn before (Including basstabs on screen as I usually do with the stuff I post here for those interesteed in the notes played). Thanks in advance for listening and for any song recommendations that you can give. Greetings!
  10. Some time ago one of the guys following my vids on YouTube suggested an old tune from The Cure for a cover and I didn´t pay much attention to it then, but going through some old comments I decided to have a listen at it and thought it was simple and great so I just recorded it. I love that the Simon Gallup bassparts basically "make" the song on itself, lol. As always, thanks for listening!
  11. Hi there bass colleagues, new cover video. 4th track of the iconic rock album "Nevermind" from Nirvana, cornerstone of the grunge culture and the so called "Seattle Sound" movement in the early 90s (originally performed by bassist Krist Novoselic). As usual, for those interested in seeing / learning how to play the covers I included the TABS on screen while I execute the song.
  12. Hi there bass fellas, I want to share with you this humble video I made compiling some basslines from the most popular songs from this icon of pop music, including the TABS of what I am playing on screen. I tried to reach a balance between choosing famous/popular songs but paying enough attention to those where bass is relevant (at least in a section of the track). In case I missed an important track for a list of this nature and some of you listening know better than me about MJ discography, feel free to let me know which one(s) I might have missed the chance to include, so I can at least have a listen at them and learn those as well. Greetings.
  13. Hi there guys! Last Sunday I was listening to the classic (Yes, I feel old using the word "classic" for albums that I remembered being released when I was younger ) Metallica album "Load" from mid 90s, and realized I never sat myself to learn some of the lines of that album even if spent my good time learning tunes from other records from Metallica. So I decided to grab my bass and play along a bit taking the chance to record a little video as well. This one for the bass intro of "King Nothing" is what came out. Thanks to the guy who uplodaded to bassless backing track I am using to YouTube, and thanks to anyone watching here too. Greetings!
  14. Hi there bass colleagues, how´s everything going? I´ve been uploading a couple of videos playing some basslines from The Cure including tabs on screen that got mild traction on YouTube over the last months with guys asking for more tunes from the band, so looking for a new song to put my hands on I found this tune I will admit I wasn´t paying that much attention before, but has a couple of fun lines (easy to play but important for the song so I figured ut they would be a good choice to cover in this case) I hope you guys like it, as always thanks for watching.
  15. Hi there bass fellas! Short video of me giving an attempt at learning this funk classic. For some reason I never sat to play this one even if I obviously knew it for a long a time. Hearing it as a background tune in a video made me remember I still had that one as a pending assignment, so here I am doing my best to play it Hope it sounds OK at least, thanks a lot for listening as always! Greetings!
  16. Hi there guys! Just sharing the latest cover I recorded for my channel, hope you like it! Greetings!
