Thanks.
TK
Q-tron + -SOLD-
Old style, complete with pretty wooden box. Adapter is euro-style 2 pin, hence adaptor plug included. I love this pedal, sadly i love my Proton more so, can't have it lying around doing nothing. £65
Boss ODB-3 -SOLD-
This one is pretty much mint, boxed with instructions etc... some people love them some hate em.. Not really for me, good at low gain only, to my ears at least.... £40
Marshall Guv'nor - Sold-
I actually rate this pedal & have gigged with it a lot, I reckon they are really good value for what they are, I have tried loads of bass distortion pedals and apart from the Darkglass which has now replaced it, I haven't found anything i prefered. Sounds brilliant after chorus/flanger sounds. No box, gain knob slightly bent but fully functional... £35

I've just blown all me christmas money on a new pedal so thought it was time to think about a pedal-board re-shuffle...
The pedals i need on the board are:
Boss TU3
MXR octaver
ibanez Chorus
Proton (filter)
Darkglass B3k (Yay! the new one!!)
I have always had octavers first, then tuner, filter, od, and finally chorus.... what are your prefferences on this..... and why?
Cheers in advance.

Don't suppose you fancy some sort of trade for a Mesa 600M-pulse head plus powerhouse 410 cab? .......
Really need to downsize but want to keep that Mesa sound....
Damn the GAS..... -

So I have 3, for sale. priced at what they cost, all in: £30 ONO each. + delivery which would be express and recorded (probably about a fiver) if you can't pick them up.
Will split if required.
Hey Tom/Steff
I was hoping to be in a position to make my mind up on this earlier in the week (it's down to whether I've got a new gig or not - if I get it it would be useful to have this as well as my Powerhouse 1x15). However, for various reasons I had to postpone the audition. Tom, if you want it, please go for it. If you don't, Steff, drop me a PM and we'll sort something mate.
Chris
No worries Chris. I am not in a big rush anyway (a 1x15 is my real GAS) , hope you get it and enjoy it!
If you ever want to part with yours at some point......let me know, I have a lovely amp to go with it...
Steff, any idea on weight of the 1x18 yet, doing some research myself, I read a thread on TB with some guy saying they were 114lbs!!
Cheers.
Tom -
hmmm tempting.
Any idea how much the 1x18 weighs? I see the 2x10s are 31Kgs if that helps, cant find any specs for the big un....
P.s If Mr Beedster doesn't buy it, give me a PM about the 2x10 i could be keen....
Thanks

I kept meaning to start the very same thread! It was an instant hit for me, just love it. Going to see them at Brixton next month. Any other BC'ers going?? -
Sean Ysuelt (ex-White Zombie) takes me back to my formative years, great bass playing and I had a major teenage crush on her too weird when you find out your teenage crushes are now in their mid-late 40s, though
Oh.. and a big +1 to this. -
Who is the girl with the blonde dreads who plays for Beyonce?? She is brilliant.
Edit:
She is Divinity Roxx. Google was my friend!! -
i played in a lot of ''secular'' bands before i started going to a church and i can safely say i have never been as streched forced to improve as a musician than when i started playing worship music!
+1
I always remember the first time i practised with our worship group. The guy leading on acoustic guitar gave me a chord sheet to a song i had never heard and said "Oh yeah and its in Capo 3..." and just started playing!!
Never learnt so much in such a short space of time, truly a blessing. -
I'm one of them there Christian bass players too.
Play in Dorchester Community Church in Dorset. Link Smallish I guess. 100 or so members. We have our own building which is about 100 years old and are hoping for a new one soon due to some local council building development plans.
Been a Christian for 3 years and playing in the Worship band for about 2 and a half. The couple who have run the Worship group for the last 10 years are moving to Devon to be closer to family so to our surprise, the Wife and I have been asked to take on the Job. Quite a privilege really, if a little daunting...
I have always just played my basses through the Church PA. Now we are getting the reins I am feeling using an amp may be in order
Music is everything from Hillsong type stuff to Hymns. Have also played with Des Minto from YFriday (Seeing as they were mentioned earlier) on a couple of occasions as the former worship leaders are his in-laws. Amazing drummer....
Nice to know there are quite a few of us on here -
I bet Mustang Sally sounds the business on that bass.
Cheers
