In excellent condition, this is the Pro version of the Epiphone Thunderbird IV bass, which features a neck through design, active electronics, a proper full contact fully adjustable bridge - gone is the dreaded 3 point bridge that Gibson/Epiphone loves to use. Designed by renowned luthier of over 50 years Gary E. Levinson, famed for his Blade series of guitars and now his Sceptre series is the Sceptre DeSoto Deluxe SD2 bass. Featuring a North American Alder body, Hard Rock Maple neck and Maple fingerboard, 38mm bone nut, heavy duty solid bridge. The two Levinson JB pickups are reverse wound / reverse coiled for noiseless operation together and utilise ALNICO 5 magnets. The DeSoto Custom has active electronics featuring a master volume, pan/balance, treble boost/cut at 7 kHz and bass boost/cut at 40 Hz with up to 13dB of gain. 1981 Matsumoku made in Japan Aria Pro II CSB 450 bass, set neck, Ash body, 32" medium scale, lightweight, frets are in good condition, truss rod works fine, neck is in good condition, electrics all good, a few scratches and love bites to its 44 year old body, which all adds to its mojo - IMO Youre welcome to try it out can post for an additional £15
