  4. possibly, I found a contact form for Eastcoast guitars and have sent them a message.
  5. Its on the light side, around 8lbs. Not sure if theres foam under the pickups or not. The control cavity looks like this.
  6. It does look very similar, except the bridge is different and the fretboard looks to be made of a darker wood.
  7. I picked this up recently really cheap and I can find very little info about it or the company, seems to be of a fairly decent build, I gave it a basic set up and it plays really well, the output seems a bit weak, apart from that no real issues so far.
  8. Now reduced to £200

The bass is in great condition, set up, fret board cleaned and oiled, some slight discolouration to the back of the neck but nothing that affects the playablility and a naturally aged white finish that oozes mojo.
  12. Not my playing but I found this on Soundcloud https://on.soundcloud.com/bYH3o
  13. It really doesnt feel like a shortscale, feels more like a 34" I had to measure it to check it was actually a shortscale.

  19. The scale length specs are 28.6 for the Mikro and 23.46 for the Blackstar. Having owned both basses, so far im really enjoying the Blackstar and thats all that really matters. I would suggest that you go to PMT and try out both basses and see which one you enjoy the most and which suits your needs the best
  20. I had the Mikro, it was a nice little instrument, but sent it back, I prefer the string height on the low side but couldnt get that particular bass to where I wanted it. I found the Blackstar was more or less good to go out of the box, the Musicman style neck wheel truss rod adjustment was a nice little touch and the tone control knob did actually blend rather than just trebble or dull, nice features on a bass ive seen listed for as low as £169. Its not going to replace my USA Fender Jazz Deluxe or USA Musicman Sterling but its fun travel size bass that will probably fit inside your suitcase.
  21. I got one today, its a really fun little bass, pleasantly suprised how well it plays. Gonna take it to rehearsal tomorrow, looking forward to the reaction from the rest of the band when I pull out the worlds smallest bass
  22. I would like to add that the bass weighs 4.5kg not 5.5kg and is in no way as back breakingly heavy as the previous message suggests.
