what he should do is stop playing in churches and start playing at proper music venues.

If you listen to the music that you like, and you dont hear a specific effect being used in any of that music, then yeah you probably will find that the effect is only used in music that you dont like.

I think of it like this; would you rather marry a virgin or the old village bicycle? Yeah sure you know what your getting with the latter and quite a lot of people can recommend it but marrying a virgin is something special that doesn't happen often.

I just purchased a DOD stereo bass chorus off a fellow basschatter and im very happy with what it can do, old DODs are quality IMO

For Sale:
Zoom B2 - £45 delivered
excellent condition, selling for a friend, hes a guitardist and cant use it. comes with original box and manuals
Behringer DC9 - £20 delivered
bought this off the bay without box etc, first compressor iv owned and instantly realised im after a much more squashier, less transparent compressor. made out of metal and does its job really quite well for a behringer.
Behringer Vibrato - £15 delivered
no box, excellent condition. bought this after seeing the janek gwizdala interview with juan alderete. makes some crazy crazy sounds, very 50's sci fi feel when running it with a fuzz.
Also got a Behringer C1 condenser microphone that ive hardly used, i usually use DI with my Mbox, but when i did use it for vocals, it wasnt bad for the price, £25 delivered with box, manual etc.
Can take pics if needed but everything is in pristine condition -
get a second guitarist

The portaflex heads don't give you any kind of overdriven sound though theyve got a very nice clean solid-state sound which has left me still wanting a vt bass. is the bass blogger comparible to a vt bass then or are they two different beasts?

PM bout the chorus =D

I just got mine with endsleigh after a read of a few old threads on here. 30 squid for around £1500 worth of equipment insured. Super cheap and that's out of home against theft and damages

I guessing using a bow would help but would I have to put something on the string first like quick fret or something? And surely just that wouldnt do it? Eq tips or pedal tips?
Strange question i know but i want a better option than triggering a patch on laptop or something expensive like that -
Bought an MXR bass auto q from Derrick. Communicated well and very quick delivery. Cheers again Derrick.

i didnt think much to the sansamp BD either. i reckon a vt bass pedal would pull it off, but without spending £100, just go for some kind of light overdrive, blend it with the original signal to keep a lot of bass still shining through. i havent heard the song in ages but i remember playing it for hours when i first started playing bass, awesome bassline and tone.

I have solved my problem. I found an ibanez discontinued parts dealer on ebay, hes kindly put some up for sale on ebay, im yet to order one yet though. i cant remember his username but if anybody wants it message me and ill let you know

been using a PF350 for a couple of months yet. About 3 weeks till ill gig it for the first time, with a PA. Ive been happy with it to no end. Great for recording, sounds huge at practice (with the pad button in too). Really want a 4ohm cab for it though.
