What did you use to achieve that distorted vocal effect, if you dont mind me asking? sounds close to the original i thought. although i am listening on little teeny weeny laptop speakers

aaand replied. still available folks. looking for straight sale rather than a trade for the MD2
-
Very very smooth transaction. Just purchased an Akai Headrush from Harry at an excellent price. Kept in touch throughout sale, was kind enough to pay for paypal charges and the pedal came within a matter of days. Definitely recommend dealing with this guy.
Cheers -
Pic now up for the MD2, MXR has been sold.
Heres a clip of the pedal with bass - http://soundcloud.com/rdum/md2test
Heres another with clip of pedal on guitar - http://soundcloud.com/rdum/gtrtest
Please ignore my clumsy bass playing and my shoddy guitar playing. I didnt really play around with the knobs till the last part of the bass track and i just turned the tone knob around. Not a great demo but gives you an idea. Cheers -
should have mentioned, offers very welcome

MXR bass auto Q now Sold cheers
For Sale: Boss MD2 Mega Distortion pedal. £45 posted
Absolute monster of a pedal. Plenty of bottom end on bass, very fuzzy/full gain kind of distortion. On guitar it reminds me of dimebag darrells huge sound and has plenty of gain for all the squeels etc. On bass its much more of a fuzz, you can get a chunky, crunchy distortion sound from it though. Not sure if there are any demos of this on bass id liken it to a bass big muff with a shitload more gain. -
I only know of the red hot chili peppers' tracks with envelope filter used on bass, and that bootsy collins uses em. Any more suggestions of good listening with an envelope filter on bass??

No idea how much postage would be for the books. Can you post them in a post box or does it class as a parcel??
All books are in fab condition -
the support band were good, just wrong gig i reckon. supporting a band that they didnt sound so similar to would have done them a lot more justice. overall the gig was epic, and les giving us a little chat close to the beginning was enough for me, banging night
I went to manchester not brixton by the way! -
You have a private message my friend. SOLD if everything goes to plan

Hes alright on drums, i cant do what he does. Most peoples reaction to this post was well snobby. Reinforces the idea that unless your one of the greats your not worth listening to..... yeah alright then.
A video of him playing bass would help though, otherwise we cant comment or critisize properly. -
Sorry for the delay in getting photos up. I didnt realised but my partner had lent the digital camera out to somebody who went to a roger waters gig last week (lucky so and so).

As you can see, apart from the box which is a bit tatty (will make sure that the pedal is packaged well when shipped) the pedal itself is in a like new condition. Will drop the price to £40 delivered as that seems to be closer to the going rate. -
Definitely want to sell my big muff this time. Been reluctant to sell as it sounds awesome, but for the past year ive only found a valid use for it once or twice with the music im involved with. Think I might rebuy a fuzz pedal later in the year but for now id rather have the cash.
Will get a picture up later today. Includes original box (a bit tatty) and is in as new condition. £40

Got a behringer MIC100 tube ultragain preamp for xmas. been feeding a Rode NT1000 and DI'd bass through it and theres a definite improvement in sound. just a warmer sound, nothing over the top just a very subtle tubey 'warmth' added to everything. definitely recommend.
and on a seperate note, ive been using a behringer c3 for about a year and its fantastic for £30. best budget mic ive ever used.
