I see what you mean, I wondered what those extra jacks were for that I was seeing on some pedals. Now I know.

I may have found some things https://reverb.com/item/16695999-electro-harmonix-ehx-dual-output-expression-guitar-effects-pedal-trs-cables Electro-Harmonix EHX Dual Expression Pedal (would have to add distortion and possibly MXR M120 Auto Q Wah) Or this as is
-
I just watched a YouTube video on the Boss LS-2 I would need to engage the Boss LS-2 before using the expression pedal and then disengage it after use of the expression, right?
-
https://www.thomann.de/gb/g_lab_tbwp_true_bypass_wah_pad.htm If I put the Demon on a G lab with distortion I could avoid tap dancing right?
-
Sorry to be so ignorant but here comes a stupid question. "Run that with a distortion in a parallel chain" Would I have to tap on distortion-then press the freaker to get my roar, then step back on distortion to turn it off and get back into clean? Or, does a parallel chain tell the freaker to only pull in the distortion when the freaker is engaged? If so how does that parrell chain set up look?

Thanks for your information. The xerograph is interesting and expensive, would a used MXR M188 Bass Auto Q be a suitable cheaper alternative? Expression pedals are something I've been trying to research, I like the function of the Morley fx blender and I'm trying to find a cheaper alternative.

Can the weeping demon be set up so that I play clean, then when I press down the weeping demon both distortion and wah come in, when released I'm back in clean? If so how. Please go easy on me, I'm very new to this.

After researching all the leads given here I'm close to making a decision. Seriously considering a Morley 20/20 Power Fuzz Wah Pedal and a G-LAB TBWP True Bypass Wah Pad to place under it. If I go that route is this the best place to get the G-Lab? https://www.thomann.de/gb/g_lab_tbwp_true_bypass_wah_pad.htm

check this out https://reverb.com/item/44018622-morley-power-wah-fuzz-pwf-silver-1970s?bk=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJqdGkiOiI2NDBhZjAzNC05MDY3LTQ4MjgtYWU5Zi1mYTQzYjBhMjFiZjUiLCJpYXQiOjE2MzE0NTU5NTcsInVzZXJfaWQiOiI1MDU3NzUzIiwic2Vzc2lvbl9pZCI6IiIsImNvb2tpZV9pZCI6ImQ0MjQyOTczLTY5ZWYtNGQ2Mi05OTgwLTZiYjMyMWNjYzczMiIsInByb2R1Y3RfaWQiOiI0NDAxODYyMiIsInNvdXJjZSI6Ik5PTkUifQ.UuRS92InYxkERODITWGnGPIxOOxfQ8A8qh5WOC0LBHc Really cool but that thing is 50 years old and if or when it breaks repairs will likely be expensive and difficult to get.

My current gear, I have a Traben array limited, all stock no upgrades or mods. A Valeton Bass Guitar Amplifier Head TAR-20B connected to a Eminence Legend BP102-4 10" 4ohm 200W Bass Speaker. I also have a Digitech RP1 that I picked up for 20 bucks, old and was fun and learned a little about what effects make what sounds and basic EQ and such but this thing is older than I am and was meant for guitar so I'm ready to transition into some bass stuff. So far from the leads I got from this thread I really like the sounds and mechanics of the Soundblox 2 MANTA Bass Filter that product ventured me into the Soundblox 2 OFD Bass micro Modeler. I'm leaning heavily towards getting those both. The The Wilson Freaker wah is very interesting, I'm considering it. A Morley FX Blender is interesting too and are not so easy to find, I'm highly considering getting one before they are gone. Later on to build my clean sound a bit better, I would like some Chorus, Delay, EQ and a Compressor Pedal. Might go with these, but this is later down the road. Great, thanks!! https://reverb.com/item/10066478-wilson-effects-freaker-wah-v2?rollup=true There are a few on reverb but they are version 2 Same? Better, or not as good?

I think those sounds starting at about the 37 second mark are in the same realm I'm wanting. I did a quick search of those products and the Source Audio Manta seams best priced with further range of effects.

I don't have much stuff, but what little I have and what things I've got to play around with, I prefer the pedals with knobs, not the stuff you got to program and use apps or download software for. I prefer to be able to bend down turn some knobs and get on with it.
-
Thank you, I just watched a video of the Xotic X-Blender. I welcome any product recommendations, there is so much stuff out there and I have little to no experience.
-
The wah would need to be set so as I played clean, fuzz didn't kick in until i stepped on in.
-
I wish to be able to play in clean mode, then when I step on a pedal bring in a low distorted growl that transitions into a high scream. Like a wildcat. I think the Morley FX Blender combined with the right effects might get me there. I welcome suggestions.
-
I want to be able to do some distorted wah type stuff like the WWE Brood theme.
-
Say I am a novice with no gear other than a bass and a small amp, and little to no knowledge of what types of pedals and pairings I should be using. Should I get any other pedals from DemonFX to pair up with this D7K? Maybe the CK COMPRESSOR? Maybe an overdrive too?
-
I was saving for a 20/20 Morley Fuzz wah but after seeing this I might grab one of these and a old 50 dollar Morley Boost wah.
-
I could always just put the speaker input jack coming out the front of the box or the top.

https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/whats-the-difference-between-ts-and-trs-cables/ I've learned a lot in the last 24 hours. Thank you folks for taking the time to write all that out and explain. I'm sharing the link to show that I am really trying to take in your information and expand.

I'm thinking about replacing my bridge also, and painting my Traben black.

The thing that's got me a bit confused is, you need (instrument cable) for instruments and pedals but you need (speaker cable) going to the speaker; but that elbow bend adapter will work on both speaker cable and instrument cable. I just can't wrap my mind around how that's possible. I believe it, just don't understand how. I would assume a seperate special dedicated adapter would be required for each type cable. Makes sense why a beginner would think this right?
