His tone is thin in the mix. However, he didn't sound as good anymore as he dumped the StingRay. -
It depends. I can't imagine Californication album on the StingRay. I really love the ultra aggressive sound of Modulus on it. However, Flea will always be that "StingRay guy" for me".
