I have just got onto my PC

I have had a lot messages from basschatters about this guitar.  

Many questions were about trades none of which I am interested in.

I shall offer the guitar to the first person who offered the asking price. 

If that person do not buy it I will offer it to the next person who has offered the asking price and so on.

It seems to me to be the fairest way.

If I could still use the guitar it would not be for sale.

The neck is very jazz like and the 3 way active tone controls give you a fantastic range of sounds from jazz to precision.

Due to Arthritis I now play a 32 inch scale Burny I bought off here a couple of years ago.  I want to move onto 30 inch scale next.

I dont mind doing a trade as long as its something I want such as a

Fender Mustang bass 

Other 30 inch scale bass (chowney etc)

Markbass 1 x 15 cabinet

bass gallery have a secondhand solid colour one at over £1900

I have owned this since 2000 and done loads of gigs with it.  At one time I had 4 bass collection 5 stringers and 1 bass collection passive 4 string 

Its a brilliant guitar and is in good condition no real damage and everything works as it should.  Of the 4 active bass collections I have owned they all had different preamps but this was by far the best one. I think 1991 was the first year of manufacture.

I have bad arthritis in my hands and struggle to play a 34inch 5 string.  I am currently gigging with a passive 4 string 30inch Nordstrand Acinonyx.

It does not come with any bag or case so I will not be posting it.  The strap buttons are part of my straplock system so these will be replaced with the originals

Glad to hear you are still playing.  It was a great bass.  If i could have afforded i would have kept it but I needed the amp. 

I am pretty sure I owned this briefly a few years ago.

Swapped it for a Boogie walkabout combo I think

I have had a couple of medium scale basses.

A burny 32 inch precision

and a Marazcuk 32 inch jake with precision and jazz pickups 

both great had to sell when the pandemic started as lost all outr gigs 

the burnys come up occasionally on ebay

Mick bought a gig bag off me.  A pleasure to deal with and a sense of humour.

It would have been extremely heavy as a combo

BUT 

with the amp removed its just a one hand lift.  Used it last night with a GENZ BENZ 3T for a spot of rehersing 

a 1 x 15 and a 1 x 8 are a nice combination

when I started playing bass we all used peavey TNTs and i dont think I have ever had a better sound since.  It was not subtle but it rattled the building
