Bought a lovely early CV 60s Precision Bass on here recently which came with fresh ECB81 Chromes (the 45-100 guage) on. I like the tension, but I'm interested in some flats with a smoother feel and more old school sound. The set up is good, so my ideal option would be one that didn't require me to mess with that. So can anyone recommend a set of strings with a similar overall tension, but more traditional flatwound sound? I've got La Bella 760F-MUS flats on my Mustang and TI JF344 Jazz Flats on my Fender P and fretless Jazz and very happy with the tone of those!

They are indeed! Got them on my #1 P Bass and my fretless Jazz.

Thomastick-Infeld flatwound strings, nearly new. Clipped, crimped to keep the core from slipping, and installed the A and D strings, changed my mind, took them back off again. Free postage included.

Amp DI, multiple cab sim and IR loader - and, as the previous owner updated the firmware to the same as the M+, a stunning clean preamp (inspired by an all original ’74 Silverface B’man), refined power amps, enhancer, tuner, expanded reverbs and noise gate.

I have been using it as a headphone amp, a job it does superbly.

I bought a lovely Squier CV 60s Precision in fiesta red from Ander. Superb comms throughout the transaction. He met me halfway in Birmingham to hand over the bass in person. The instrument is in excellent condition with a great set up. Highly recommended. Cheers!
