  1. In this regard, I already anticipate that I will publish on my youtube channel a sound comparison between this squier and my fender precision american performer! 😜
  2. I absolutely agree with you. Until a few years ago, low-end instruments were most of the time poor instruments, but today this is no longer the case and with a small expense you can get respectable bass!
  3. The impression it gave me is that on a qualitative level this new model is much more similar to a vintage modified than the model of the old series.
  4. Hi guys, this is the complete sound test of the new Squier Precision Affinity model 2021 born from the total restyling made by Squier for its affinity series. The sound test of the instrument was performed with its factory strings and without the use of effects or equalization. Recording was done using a Tascam Pocketstudio DP-006 digital recorder https://youtu.be/ePVtDtfrrxM

  6. Some time ago I wrote a ballad typical of a medieval inn with my acoustic bass ... I didn't find the inn but I took advantage of a relaxing holiday in the mountains to record this song in the woods together with my friend who play the irish bouzouki ... enjoy!
  7. Another great rock classic played with my Epiphone Thunderbird Classic Pro!
  8. On June 23, 1991, the first unforgettable adventure of what would become not only Sega's mascot but one of the most important and iconic video game heroes of all time, the legendary and inimatible Sonic, was released all over the world! To celebrate its thirtieth anniversary, I decided to make the bass cover of the theme of the first level of Sonic, the same level where the myth started. Have fun and best wishes Sonic!
  9. have never been a big fan of Adam Clayton but I must admit that over the years I began to appreciate him more and more until I was able to understand what his greatest gift was: the time. There are bassists who struggle between scales, slaps, double thumbs, often losing focus on the role of bass and timing and then there's him who doesn't give a damn and goes straight on his way with his very precise eighths. without ever stumbling, unleashing a limited baggage of technical skills that nevertheless are enough and advance to support his band in the best way, and not just any band but U2! An example is in this song, a very simple line yet damn effective, direct and beautiful (in my opinion) in its simplicity that I tried to emulate here with my trusty Thunderbird… good listening! https://youtu.be/YNKAtiOYv6w
  10. This was the second song I learned to play a few years ago with the bass: this famous Muse song is not at all difficult to play but it requires a lot of concentration and stamina and many years it was really useful to me to learn to play octaves with bass!! πŸ˜… Here is my bass cover! https://youtu.be/chfDyT9ARwQ
  11. The Eighties were a wonderful time for many reasons: fashion, entertainment, culture, sun, palm trees and of course ... music! In that period, many successful hits were published that over time have become the very symbol of those years, giving us an unprecedented musical treasure. But the Eighties were also a golden period for our beloved instrument, the electric bass, the absolute protagonist in many songs of those years. As in the case of this hit by Kajagoogo, a bass line completely in slap simply amazing but above all with a melodic and sensible use of this technique. Here you find my bass cover, I hope you like it! What's your favorite bassline from the eighties?
  12. One of most beautiful post punk revival bassline of 2000's played with my Fender Precision American Performer...enojoy! https://youtu.be/RlTP5nCjvG8

  16. To celebrate the release of β€œSkyfall”, the new single from the Hamburg pumpkins that marks the official return of the legendary Kiske and Hansen in the band, I decided to make the bass cover of the β€œI Want Out: one of the most important and iconic song of the power metal played with my Tribe SF4 Custom. 22. Choosing a Stevie Wonder song to play is a very difficult task because they are all really beautiful. This song however is one of my absolute favorites, a beautiful homage to Bob Marley with a noteworthy bass line that I tried playing with an Ibanez SR500.
  23. Dean Town is one of the most famous and loved bass lines of recent years. A song certainly not easy to play but I tried it too and this was the result! πŸ˜…
