This is why we put so much effort into the protection circuits.

Just to clarify, This is a 800+ Amp, it states in the manual that the outputs from the amp are in parallel. 

I am running a single 4ohm cab from each output. Two cabs in total.

Are you saying the switch should be set to 4ohm?

Guys , I’ve just had a senior moment.

I’m running 2 410 4ohm cabs. One from each of the SpeakOn outputs from the amp. Thinking they were separate circuits I’ve had the ohm switch at 4ohm. However, having just read the manual it states these are in parallel and if I’ve got this right I should be switched to 2ohm?

Is this correct, and if so , how I haven’t blown anything is beyond me🤦‍♂️

It’s beginning to come together..or apart depending on your point of view . Fretboard is now maple, the headstock wings have been shaped as a test before being changed for maple too. The scratch plate and truss rod is sorted in stainless and the neck pick-up sorted. Got all the knobs , switches etc and the graphics. 

Steve at Guitarlodge is doing all the work and it’s all up to his exacting standards!
 

Back again, had a massive delay due to this covid crap but well underway now, we are going for the Bartolini neck pup with the white under surrounding. 
Does anyone know which one it was at all?

The retailer has been first class, it just really surprises me that they are let out like that. I’ve just noticed a few of my recent purchases have had similar issues .

Apart from Deans which have been excellent right out of the box!

Is it just me or is everything just getting through QC now? 
Now I don’t expect much from a £350 instrument but loose frets and the stain coming off on your fingers is a bit disappointing🤔

It’s not a massive problem for me as I always give my kit to Steve at Guitarlodge to setup anyway but if I’d been new to all this I think it would put me off from buying another one from that manufacture.

I went with the K&M one in the end, unfortunately one of the strange things my ex Mrs demanded as part of the divorce was my welders and lathe….very odd bearing in mind she then weighed it all in 🤣🤣
