The only gig I’ve ever walked away from is Nine Inch Nails at Sonisphere 2009, literally killed the atmosphere with a self indulgent, boring set , really disappointed.

I was playing in a Doom band during 2019, i was over the moon to get in as it was really my dream gig, unfortunately the main man turned out to be a nightmare to play with. He was always giving the drummer a hard time, and when I introduced him to another guitarist (who was a far better player) he spent the next Rehersal trying to out clever him🤦♂️. Amazing song writer but not a team player.
Bloody shame as I loved playing that stuff🤘- 1

Do any of you guys make your own daisy chain power leads and if so what do you tend to use?
-
That’s the one👍 Yeah hopefully only a few more months

@Spewy - What is that 'thing' on the wall in the top left of the picture??
Ha ha, it’s the mural on the wall at Mushroom studios! A very unfortunate angle🤣🤣

Without doubt the best things I got this year was the upgrades to a cheepo LTD bass I use for a couple of songs. A set of Gezzer Butler EMGS which had to go in derrière about face coupled with a set of 50-115 Boomers. The down side was the action had to be raised slightly (it’s in Drop C) but it’s transformed a mushy, messy sounding bass into a really precise pleasure to play.
The worst is a pair of Darkglass 410’s which cost a feckin fortune, sound absolutely amazing but I’ve got to play with about four times all year due to you know what.
Sometimes it’s the simpler things!

Sussed it, there’s no problem with it if using it pre amp. If I use the fx loop it’s not happy, needs a buffer 👍
ironically I found the correct thread on here after I found the answer myself 🤦♂️
Any way, happy new year🤘

Hi everyone, I’ve just added a phase 90 to my board and there is a noticeable drop in output when it’s activated. I’ve tried it on its own and it still occurs. This is a brand new pedal so I can always send it back .

Don’t worry, we’re way ahead of you🤣👍

Guys,
Do any of you use an eleven rack when playing live? I have but ended up switching back to a pedal board as I wasn’t happy with the sound.
I found it brilliant with a guitar but am undecided with a bass. How have any of you got on with it?

I have sourced the knobs, however as I don’t have the bass to hand it’s quite hard to work out the sizes. They come is four sizes.
1. 1 1/8” Top 1 1/2” skirt
2 1 1/8” Top 1 3/4” skirt
3. 1 3/8” top 1 1 3/4” skirt
4. Top size not shown 2.06” skirt
I think this is the correct chicken head too if the white stripe is removed

We’ll rest assured, I shall be bothering you over the next few months 😁

Thanks for that, I’m all over playing the things, but not much in the way of the technical side🤣👍

Does the bridge sit further back on a 4001 to a 4003 or is the tail piece just slightly longer?
-
-
Well the bass has arrived at the luthiers, I’m getting a little bit excited now😁
After a bit of thought we are going to put in a Bartolini neck pup.
Im struggling to identify the correct knobs at the moment, most pictures I have just don’t show them clearly enough. -

Not sure what happened there!
Yes, the stripes going in along with all the extra holes marks and imperfections. This is my retirement present to myself , I reckon I’ve earned it!
I don’t disagree with you at all but I’m yet to find a 4001 for anything like the money I picked the 4003 up for and even then am uneasy with using a 45yr old instrument as a base. If it was going to be a wall decoration or a play at home thing then I may have a made a different decision. I need this to be a reliable, gigging instrument, and it’s nice sometimes to be the first to play something 😁
