1.
And take the power back - I have to have some pretty strong willpower not to flick that riff out when i've got a bass tuned to drop D!
Glad to see I'm not the only one

  2. Most I've seen new are around £40 on t'internet - you found a bargain

Anyway I've looked back at past sales of this pedal on here, so have dropped the price to £20 shipped

  3. Since I've acquired a Boss ODB3, I no longer have need for my Bad Monkey. I bought it off ebay after hearing lots of positive reviews on here but I never quite got on with it - probably as I prefer heavier fuzz/distortion and it doesn't really go well with the type of music I play with my band.

Its in near perfect condition - might be boxed (depends if I can find it). I'm selling it for [s]£25[/s] £20 (includes P&P)

  4. After purchasing TG Flatlines Ashdown Combo and Cab, my Fender Rumble 100watt Combo is no longer needed (plus I need cash!), so I plan to sell it.

I bought it new around four years ago for £300 from Dawsons, and for 95% of the time it has only been used for quiet self practice - it has been gigged a few times and used in band practise but not that much, due to me only being in a proper band since October.

It is still in perfect working order, and in very good condition overall. By looking at previous threads, I think £100 is a fair price. I would prefer collection only (Durham), but if its not too far (~50 mile radius) I might consider driving it to you for petrol money.

The Amp is currently held at our practise room in Sunderland, so I'll try and get pics up after our next practise in a couple of days

EDIT: REDUCED DOWN TO £80 FOR QUICK SALE

  5. I'm selling the Digitech Bass Synth Wah I bought off here a few weeks ago from Sk8. In great condition, with original box but no instructions - £40 (includes postage and packaging)

Reason for selling is that I have no need for it in my band, as we are now messing about with a proper keyboard synthesiser.

I'll also throw in a slightly used Duracell battery to sweeten the deal.

  6. Bought a pedal at a great price - extremely prompt communication & item arrived quickly and safely. Nothing more could be asked for (apart from not having to pay)

It's shame most of my other transactions aren't as straightforward.

  7. Probably been mentioned before, but I've noticed that for months I've been playing the chorus for Duran Duran - Rio slightly wrong for months now, and I can't figure out what I should be playing. Its the bit in the chorus were it sings "dances on the sand" first time round. Its basically the part after the D halfway through the riff and before the E F# F# G G at the end that I can't figure out exactly

All the tabs I've seen are no good. I figured the rest of the chorus out but just cannot figure this part out out, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Just a list of all the notes played that any of you play Rio would be brilliant. Cheers

  8. Right, I'm playing Hysteria by Muse tomorrow night in my Uni college unplugged night (which isn't at all unplugged) I have a Boss GT6-B and want to get the right tone, but I'm far too busy writing my dissertation (am in library needing to write 7000 words by Thursday) to play about with it and do it myself.

So does anyone else here play Hysteria through a GT6-B, and could you please tell me how you he tthe right (or a similar) tone? I would be really gratful as the presets are pretty crap.

    Cheers
