3.
Was this mine? Did you collect it from a scrawny, miserable-looking dude in York?
Hah I'm afraid not As much as I'd liked to have met a scrawny miserable-looking dude in york. Got this only last week.
  4. Hey there, so I got this pretty nice 6 string through ebay with the intention of trying out a 6 string. I've come to the conclusion it's not for me It's got a 34" neck, very playable neck with pretty easy going action, 2 passive humbuckers and grover style tuners. Asking for £150, postage included, only selling for this price as I got a similar bargain through ebay and it's only fair... Thanks for looking! Mike edit - price drop

    H&S basses

Hey there, so I just won a 6 string H&S bass for 100 squid (sixer). I've never heard of these before but even if it works I'll be pelased with the chance to try out a six for that price. Can always mod it, particularly the pickups. Anyway, has anyone ever heard of/know anything about this bass? Thanks, Mike
  7. Sold the_D a G&L bass, quick, easy, painless transaction! cheers!

  9.
are you up for any trades? I've got a black Russian Big Muff (and maybe some other stuff) if you fancied trading it for that?
hmm thanks for the offer but I'll stick to selling it...unless you have some reverb things?
  10. Hey, selling a DigiTech X-series Bass envelop filter pedal. Phew. It's in pretty perfect condition, built like a little tank, comes with a battery, manual, all that jazz. 'The Bass Synth Wah™ is simply the most versatile bass envelope filter pedal on the market with seven different bass envelope filter types to choose from.' Sums it up. Asking for about £35 for it, selling as I don't have that much use for such a pedal, preferring cleaner tones. cheers.
  11. Hmm I see I see, thanks for the input. Edit: Well thanks to sniping software I lost out on the Dearmond pfft, washburn it is.
  12. So I have the chance, for similar prices, to get either a Washburn T25 new or a Dearmond pilot 6 second hand. Obviously one is a 5 string and the other a 6 string, the 6 string being slightly more daunting but most likely better value than the washburn. Oh wise basschatters, what to get?
  13.
Man I am tempted by this. Does it have a hardcase or anything with it? Are those straplocks fitted too?
Not a hardcase unfortunately but it does come with a fairly nice fender gig bag. As for the straplocks they're just standard strap pegs with small fabric washers. Sturdy as you like
  14. Weekend *bump* Still a great bass, still a great price...

  16.
Don't do it...............save yourself some grief and save up for a L2500/Ray5 and keep the Tribby. I love my new L2500 but I wouldn't be without a good 4 stringer.
Hmm can't say I haven't considered it, this isn't my only 4 string however and I'm tight on money with being a student and all that. I'm sure it can be put to better use by a lucky buyer.

  18. Hey hey, just to let you peeps know, I'm selling this very bass for quite a decent price if you're interested head over here: G&L for sale Just give me a PM/e-mail/whichever I concur also, tis a great bass!
  19. Hi there! So this excellent G&L bass was only bought about a month or so ago and, in my untimely wisdom, I've decided to venture into 5 and/or 6 string basses. I'm simply wanting to sell to help pay towards a new bass; its only fault being that it has 4 strings I saw quite a faithful review of this bass in the 'bass review' section of the forum if you want to check that out. Anyways the bass has great playability and a deep clean tone, the tone being highly customisable at that with an active with treble/active/passive switch a series/parallel switch and a pickup selector for the two beefy humbuckers. A brief run through of the spec: G&L Tribute L2000 Bass * Pickups: 2 Fullerton-made G&L Magnetic Field Design humbucking pickups * Body Wood: Swamp Ash * Neck Wood: Hard Rock Maple with Rosewood fingerboard * Neck Radius: 12 inch (304.8mm) * Neck Width at Nut: 1 3/4 inch (44.5mm) * Tuning Keys: Open-back traditional tuners * Bridge: G&L Saddle Lock bridge with nickel plated die-cast saddles * Controls: o G&L Tri-Tone active/passive electronics o 3-way mini-toggle pickup selector o series/parallel mini-toggle o preamp control mini-toggle (off/on/on with high frequency EQ boost) Shakey camera work there...apologies. I'm asking for about £350+, as I've said before it's pretty much brand new and a great quality bass. Thanks for looking!
