1. I think you sound great! It's not like you are playing 4 to the bar and always miles away.... try listening to this one from Victor - all about getting with the pulse.

2. Depends on 2 factors;

1. How likely is the 1st person offering a delayed payment to default, or not honour the payment
2. How much do you really need the money now.

If the answer to 1 is not likely and 2 is not really - then I would go with £1000 now and £800 later.

If the guy is likely (or possibly) to not make the £800 payment or you need the money now - then I would take the £1650 now.

3. My jazz is now sold and on its way to sunny Leyland - now; the Yamaha needs a new home.

Roll up roll up - a beautiful 5-string active bass, looks great plays great sounds great - great price!

These bases are now discontinued - so you can't buy a new one anymore; that means this is now RARE and VALUABLE!

You wanna be cool like Tony Kanal or Billy Sheehan or Paul McCartney? Then you need some Yamaha bb in your life. :-)

4. Not sure what to say about this - bought it back in 199? as a limiter and used for quite a few years. It's been sitting neatly in the corner for the past 15 years though since I bought a GT6-B and the time has come to find a new home.

It's a simple pedal - but pretty effective, bringing a useful level of limiting; and some excitement to the sound (boosts the lows and highs?) to be honest I have no idea - it's just kinda enhances the sound...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exciter_(effect) - this is what wiki has to say...

So - it can be a fun toy to add to your arsenal for some more pocket change.

Looking for £25 including postage.

Here's some pics.

Really need to sell this now as I bought a lovely new bass at the weekend!

Will include postage in the price - so treat yourself this easter to the 5-string you always promised yourself. :-)

7. Up for grabs is my old Boss OC2 Octave pedal. Bought new in 1995 (just checked the serial number and this is what it shows) - but not really used much. I have a Boss GT6-B and that really does 99% of what I need most of the time...

Just bought a new bass and need to balace the books...

Prices for these seem to be all over the place - and ebay has many going at £100+

So - you can have my beautiful boxed one for a mere £65 + postage.

8. Following on from another for sale thread (Yamaha bb615) - i need to make some space and gain some funds for a new purchase I just made...

For sale is my lovely Fender Jazz Fretless 4 - in Sunburst. Mexican one I think, bought around 2004. It's a great bass with a lovely fretless tone, and is totally the correct colour for any Jaco-like tenancies you might have.

It's a simple bass and does exactly what you would expect of a Fender Jazz. Condition-wise 9.5/10 - never gigged, just sat in my room and played from time to time. No marks or dings. It always plays second best to an old Ibanez fretless I have (which was the second bass I ever bought) - so it's time to move onto a new home.

It is currently strung with flats - which still have plenty of life in them. It weighs around 4.2kgs.

I am looking for £250 incl. postage for this.

9. Due to a recent, irresistible urge to own a Warwick (which I have now bought) - I need to clear some space on my guitar rack and gain some more padding in my bank account.

1 bass in = 2 basses out.

So - 1st for sale is my beloved Yamaha bb615. Active, 5-string, natural finish. I have owned this for around 5 years and it was my main gigging bass for a lot of this time. Lusted after a bb for years (after watching No Doubt's bassist with a lovely one) and when Yamaha re-issued them; I bought one from the Bass Centre - via the web.

Lovely bass, really clear tone - bright and zingy. Really flexible tone controls, with boost / cut on the bass, mid and treble - as well as pickup blend and overall volume. It weighs 4.4kg, hangs nicely and I love it. But two of the children have to go; and I spend more time playing my Jazz 5 these days than the Yam.

Condition is 9/10 - a little wear on the back, and some 'hacks' on the headstock when some silly guy decided to hit the cymbals with the bass at a gig once. Neither me - nor the drummer thought this was a good idea on reflection.

So - pricewise, looking for £225 incl postage. Will include a new set of 5-string er, strings though the ones that are on it still have a lot of life yet.

10. Hey dude - I am going to the Music / Nature camp (bass camp is during my vacation this year) and cannot WAIT! I think it is mostly bass players who will be at the Music / Nature camp anyways so hope I am not missing out on anything.. a friend of mine went to basscamp last year and said it was awesome so sure you will have a great time.
