The White Eagle cost me £550 (D762648), I was the purchaser on ebay! The one I picked up for £50 was an Antoria 2376 (1773975), from your explanation of serial numbers dated to January 1977. A few dings, but nothing that detracts from it (one on front, one on back plus buckle rash). Both with MIJ serial number plates. Yes, the Eagle has had a (very good) head repair. Both seriously heavy, but then I also have a Gibson Les Paul Studio! 3 inch guitar straps help. Quite a shock, as the first guitar I bought (new, as a student in 1974 for £30) was an Antoria 330/Casino copy! The LP was bought in 2007, the basses in 2017 and 2022.

A late joiner to this thread, looking for details on my Antoria Jazz bass purchased in Knowle, West Midlands, last year. £50, no argument. Plus a Vox 10 Bass amp in another Charity shop for £20 a month or so later. But nice to see a Black Eagle. I recall several years ago someone was selling replica Black Eagle pickguards. but can no longer find the link. But here's one to drool over... not all Black Eagles were black. I know of at least three (plus one refinished in white by Jon Camp of Renaissance)

Hi from another Antoria White Eagle owner. That now makes 3 owners that I am aware of, Jon Camp, formerly of Renaissance and Roy Wood's Helicopters had (or maybe still has) one. Interestingly, his has a black headstock.

Antoria was a UK brand made by the same company as Ibanez - the guitars were identical except for the headstock logo. Although Antoria also made a white one.... And a slightly bigger Vox Amp (AD30VT)
