Just picked up some Ernie ball group 3 flats today, interesting how big the gaps are on the windings, and the angled winding on the G string!
close up they look similar to the TI flats
Going to play them like crazy for a month then take another closeup, see how much gunk for the funk I’ve managed to accumulate!

I was thinking about buying the Peterson pedal tuner but thought I’d give the clip on a go first to see how I get on using a strobe having never used one before.
Bought this new about a month ago, it’s just not for me, I much prefer a good old fashioned tuner with a flashy line going backwards and forwards, I just can’t get on with this strobe business at all, it all just seems a little counter intuitive to me. Comes with a proper Peterson case too which I purchased separately (and cost £20) Photos to follow.

I keep going around and around in circles with my overdrive pedals, so yet again it’s time to try something else. So up for grabs is my Way Huge Pork & Pickle overdrive / fuzz pedal, essentially it’s two pedals in one, bought it the back end of last year, photos will follow.
£120 delivered.

You can do that, or make use of it and solder it to the other signal conductor.
So I could just solder both conductors to the same terminal in the jack rather than taping it up?

Simple question (I hope) I have a short Curley stereo lead which I want to wire up with neutrik mono jacks to go from my wireless body pack to my guitar, can I just tape up the extra cable and then wire it as normal?

The has been has been turned into a fretless so it now has a epoxy coated ebony board.
That explains it 😁

Now that is battered...
That fretboard is lovely, looks almost black

My second wireless system for sale.
Simple M5 wireless system, I’ve been using this around the house and and at practice and it’s never had any issues, despite the multitude of wireless internet devices all over the place. This is a good cheap wireless set which is sold on Amazon under different brand names for far more than this!
£35 plus postage gets you this.
Flatwound string close ups...

I’d really like to see some close up of some chromes to see how they compare to the Ernie ball, I’ve heard people comment that they are the same string just rebranded, they certainly my don’t feel the same, would be good to get a good close up of them.
