Compared to the radical designs on this thread, my humble Jazzmaster VI Bass build feels rather archaic...but does sound rather tasty with its 1959 Jazzmaster pickups and series/parallel wiring.

Yeah it has the Crass logo but it was from San Fran...still unsure as to who owned it. Grabbed it because it was just too cool... -

Price drop: £1800. The case has been sold. Bass will come with a Fender gigbag or an older Fender case that needs a little TLC. Two new latch tops will be supplied if you want the case. Bass has B width neck, is very light at 8 lbs and is alder body. Minor repair on guard at the jack end, one coil has been rewound with correct wire and the whole pickup has been wax potted Original pots and capacitor. I added a hand shaped Rosewood tugbar but the original plastic one is in the case. Plays beautifully and frets, truss rod are in good order. Sounds amazing - the true classic P Bass tone. And one of the less numerous custom colours as well. Reduced to the round number of £2000. £50 plus insurance UK (UPS) £75 plus insurance EU (UPS) Not looking for trades, thanks for looking!

Hello boys and girls! I have an old Fender bass case of cultural significance that needs to be fully re-lined - the plush velvet has had it in a major way. Any ideas who could re-upholster this baby - preferably near Newcastle? I have the lining...

I saw the 72 J on The Gallery's page in Camden for 2K the other day so I grabbed it. I was watching a 69 in Kent for 9 months - when I finally moved to the UK it sold a day before I'd scraped the cash together. It took six months to spot the bargain in Camden - I know what you mean about bargains being few and far between these days.

Hello Bass community UK PRICE DROP £3800 - ON HOLD FOR ONE OF OUR FINE BASS PLAYING COUSINS IN ITALY FREE SHIPPING UK. DUE TO LARGE QUOTES TO EU WHICH ARE DRIVEN UP BY SHIPPING INSURANCE I CAN NO LONGER OFFER FREE SHIPPING TO EUROPE. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO FIND THE CHEAPEST CARRIER POSSIBLE. THANK YOU. Recently moved from Australia to the North East for a minor career change to the wind industry. Looking to offload my all original 66/67 J Bass to help finance the course fees. It's in a word, killer. 8 lbs alder body, A code neck, all nitro factory finish, original paddle tuners, block inlays, original neck shim in neck pocket, still got original chrome pickup covers, not one single solder joint has been touched, still with all original pots from the mid 66 fender bulk-buy from CTS and Stackpole (tone pot is Stackpole, original 0.02 ceramic capacitor with yellow sleeve on one leg, vol pots CTS) pickups hand dated to 10-1-67 and 19-1-67 respectively, original pickguard and thumbrest. It sounds, well you know, stunning. Original mid-late 60's no tail fender logo case, all latches intact and functioning, lining perfect. Must have been an Australian delivery - it has a winner's medallion from the 1970 NSW Battle of the bands competition set into the back of the body just below the neckplate. I'll hand deliver it anywhere between Newcastle and London - any further and it'll probably be around £50 give or take...
