I have one of these, and they are superb bass cabs.
Don't let the compact and (very) lightweight nature of these speaker cabs fool you. They are loud and punchy.

That's a great price for a cab that will serve the next owner very well. dodgnofski is a regular on here too - so I'd rate him as a trusted BC member.
    GLWTS :)

Thanks Marc, these are arguably - in my humble opinion of course - the best compact cab with such a small stage footprint available & if I was still Gigging not only would I be keeping it, but I'd save up for a second one for the ultimate vertically stacked Rig in town. I've replaced it with an 802 Combo from Happypants, which I can stack my 602 Combo on and have a 'mini version' now I don't need the volume the 102p gives out 😎😎👍👍

  4. Bought a Combo from Jason. ultra smooth transaction and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish - thank you.

Needless to say, but I will anyway - deal with full confidence, he's a good 'un.

Thanks again Jason, very much appreciated 👍👍

  5. Lightweight - one hand lift, tiny stage footprint, tall enough to hear on stage, loud & clear, with lots of depth, smooth mids and a nice bright top end courtesy of the adjustable Tweeter - excellent as a Main Cab, stage monitor + small enough to use at home, or in the studio, etc.

In excellent minty condition and complete a Viktory dust cover + the original box & packaging.

Designed in Italy & assembled in Indonesia, I've owned both these and Italian assembled MB amps & cabs over the years and I am unable to tell the difference in either sound, or build quality - in my humble opinion of course & with my old cloth ears 😂😂

  6. Barrie kindly answered my cry for help when looking for a new cab and had just the jobbie I was looking for.

Very knowledgable and friendly BC'er and I would recommend him to all on here 👍

    Thanks again Barrie 😎😎

  7. Ashdown 8" 250w 8ohm Speaker Bass / Keyboard / Guitar etc Cab - converted from an Ashdown 'After Eight' Combo to make a cracking little Cab which is ideal for home practise (instead of lugging your Gigging Cab up to your bedroom) - small acoustic Gigs, as Upright Bass reinforcement or as an extension speaker for your Combo - being an 8ohm speaker, connected to your Combo will draw out the full available volume from the Amp running at 4ohms. Obviously lows are limited due to the size & design of the cab, but sounds sweet and quite loud

The brand new speaker has an Aramid Fibre Cone and is rated at 250watts RMS, or 500w Peak.

There is room for a small Class D Amp to slot in at the back where the Amp section originally was for transportation.

    Very well built and sturdy little cab weighing approximately 11kg and measures 332cm H x 332 W x 303 D

Can post to the UK Mainland for about £12.00 - ish.

  8. Very high quality Gibson Guitar Gig Bag by TKL in the USA in good fully working order with just a few marks & very little wear consistent with age and normal use.

These TKL Gig Bags are not to be confused with the newer lower quality Gig Bags as they are very heavily padded with a luxurious  Faux Fur interior and provide a high level of protection for your cherished instrument.

These also offer very good protection for your Headless Bass - Status etc, or for your Short Scale Bass Guitar.

Internal length is 103cm & 43cm wide at the widest point.

My Kingbass lived in this for a few years to save wrestling with the hard case and it remained in pristine condition.

Postage to the UK Mainland only - sorry, at £9.95 and will be boxed and not doubled over which can spoil the integrity of the Gig Bag as they do stand up under their own weight - obviously if leant against something - due to the heavy padding.

i also have another of these for sale and I can combine the postage.

  12. Sorry Guys, it's just too good to let go........

Eden WTX 260 fully featured Bass Amp in minty condition with plenty of oomph and runs whisper quiet, so ideal for studio use, plus the bass boost feature enables wonderful bottom end even at low volume.

Hand built in the USA prior to Eden switching production to China.

Voltage automatically adjusts dependent on which Country you are in.

Large rubber feet fitted to clear cab handles etc - hence the minty condition on the base of the amp.

    Specs……….

The ‘260’ refers to the power output in the US at their lower voltage, but delivers 300w at U.K. voltage at 4ohms.

This small, lightweight (only 3.8 lbs!) unit includes all the features users have come to expect from Eden amplifiers, and also includes groundbreaking technology to make life easier on touring musicians.

The WTX-260 is the perfect amplifier for players who need a full-featured amp that will fit in the pocket of the average gig bag. Eden designed the WTX-260 for the traveling musician, especially those who travel internationally. You can slip this amp into the pocket of most gig bags, and you can use it anywhere in the world with no modifications. Just attach the appropriate power cord and play away. The amplifier automatically senses and adjusts itself to local voltage.

Hopefully, he is a Chap doing a run through……….

The pre-amplifier section of the WTX-260 is based on the Golden Ear chip for amazing warmth and musicality. This is the same chip used in ultra-high-end recording consoles and is more expensive -- and more musical -- than the chips used by many other manufacturers. Powered by a unique Analog Switching Amplifier that delivers 260W to 300W RMS (@ 4 ohms w/ +3dB headroom), depending on local voltage conditions, the WTX-260 has an impressive list of features.

Can post to the U.K. Mainland only via Parcelforce at cost price of £15.65. Any questions, please fire away.

"It is impossible to overstate how much low end this cab can produce (...) You could be forgiven for thinking that you were playing though a 4x10 cab."

Read the BGM review of the One10 and Two10 - here!

One10. Not magic but it might as well be.

It seems ludicrous that something so tiny could be useful and not just as a practice cab. But it is useful and rave reviews are coming in thick and fast! Comments like this:

"Sounded really good in my jazz big band rehearsal! Seriously, much more oomph that my previous Shuttle 1x10" cab could do. It easily kept up with a loud drummer and 20 odd trumpets, trombones and saxophones"

Do you care what's inside it? Isn't how it sounds, especially at loud volumes, what really matters?

Tone - Big, warm and fat. Don't let the size deceive you. Sweet treble and smooth mids. Push it hard and it gets growly and thick.

Loudness - Any jazz gig. Rehearsals or smaller gigs with typical function bands. Stack a pair to handle louder rock bands or bigger gigs.

We've had a lot of bassists hear and play the prototypes in the last few months. We should have done some blindfold tests because the reactions have been fantastic - shock at how BIG something so SMALL can sound. Even more shock at how light it can be.

If you do care what's inside it, here it is:

Full-range 10" driver with 2" concentric midrange dome = TONE!

Hybrid Resonator enclosure = big sound from a small box

Very high volume displacement = can move as much air as a good 15"

Large voice coil - will handle 250W all day long = loud and tough

We've put everything we've learnt in the past decade into this ultra-minimalist cab. It's loud because it's clever. It's affordable because it's clever. It's manufactured in the UK, from top quality components, with very precise quality control.

Before I talk about the geeky stuff I just need to say something important. I (Alex) am a bassist. Alex Bass as I have often been known. My main drive as a bassist has always been writing and arranging and recording and performing new material. I want gear that I just plug into and it works, it doesn't hold me back and it lets me get on with making music. That's what I want from every product we build - to let all our customers get on with playing music and stop having to think about gear. A bass cab that lets you do YOUR thing. It might bring its own vibe but it still lets YOU be YOU. I've had a lot of fun playing through the One10. Treat it kind and it's sweet and fat and honest. Treat it rough and it gets ANGRY. And everyone always assumes I'm playing through something bigger. Which is nice.

Better than magic. Bloody good engineering.

It contains a unique high output 10CR250 driver, designed by Barefaced and custom made by Eminence in the USA. The cone is very light which makes it very efficient (air is light too so light cones couple better because they're more like the air they're pushing). A lightweight cone wouldn't normally work in such a small box - look at old hi-fi speakers from the '50s and '60s - very light cones and very loud with only a handful of watts but HUGE boxes to give them decent bass.

Our Hybrid Resonator enclosure solves the problem, damping the mid-bass hump and fattening the deep lows with two controlled resonances working in unison, and giving you a ton more power handling in the real bass.

The concentric midrange dome extends the treble response and improves the dispersion - it doesn't sound like it has a tweeter but it has so much smooth clarity. The voice coil is pretty big (not too big because that would cost us efficiency and treble response) so it can happily handle 250W all day long. And it can really move air - it's basically like a good 15" or 2x10" in that respect.

We made a chart comparing our 12XN550 to the best neo 12"s you'll find in commercial bass cabs - it backs up our claim that you'll need two of them to do what one 12XN can do. The 10CR250 matches those expensive neo 12"s for output - at a fraction of the size, weight and price.Barefaced quality, tone and output at a far more affordable price point.

  14. Thanks for the heads up, but I much prefer the Jack version - with a body - now I’m in my dotage 😂😂 Having said that, I had a passive one of these when they first came out in the 80’s and they are fantastic Basses. So good in fact that I kept it for over 30 years. They are lightweight + a really low action is achievable with the flattish fingerboard & In my humble opinion the ideal backup Bass as they fit into a guitar Gigbag and take up very little room. GLWTS 👍👍
