  1. Gavin kindly sold me some pickups that were far superior to the stock ones on my P & he was an absolute to deal with. Second to none communication, great packaging plus speedy dispatch. Needless to say - but I will - that I would whole heartedly recommend him to all on here without reservation.

    Thanks again Gavin, appreciated👍👍

  2. Drives me bonkers🙈🙈 - asking thousands and can’t be bothered to take pics of the butt end date stamp, which also then shows the condition of the truss rod nut + pics of the action in the playing position & pot dates etc It’s like a car salesman expecting a customer to by a second hand car without wanting to lift the bonnet - rant over👍👍

  3. Kevin kindly came to my rescue by answering my wanted ad after I received a P bass on which the height adjustment screws had seized in the barrels.

He promptly sent a Fender bridge off in the post and it is nothing short of superb - he wouldn’t even let me pay the postage!

Kevin is a credit to Basschat and a shining example of what being a member is all about.

Thanks again Kevin, you are a true Gent Sir👍👍

  4. Same here - Brian sold me a cracking little amp. Communication, packaging and delivery were all above & beyond, so needless  to say - but I will that I would recommend him to all BC’ers without reservation. Thanks again Brian, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with you.

    That’s a beauty mr d 😍

    Thanks Tony,

Yes - it’s yet another one I should have kept🙈🙈 It had a B neck, played like the proverbial dream with a ridiculously low action & a lovely sounding powerful pick up, which measured 11. something on the Richter scale A session Chap came all the way up from ‘that’ London & loved it. I’d love another 60’s P but the prices have gone a bit nuts now, but because I was missing the AVRI so much, I’ve bought another one😃😃🙈🙈👍👍

    Cheers,

    Tim

  6. Martin kindly allowed me to buy back the combo that I sold to him just over a year ago & had missed ever since🙈

He is a pleasure to deal with & as before I would whole heartedly recommend him to all BC’ers.

Thanks again Martin - very much appreciated👍👍

  7. S’manth bought a Bass from me & was an absolute pleasure to deal with - Thank you😃

Excellent communication skills, plus being very knowledgable makes it very easy for me to recommend her to all BC’ers without reservation.

    Thanks again S’manth👍👍

  8. This is a cracking  little Bass that is small, lightweight, punches way above its minuscule weight & dimensions, plus it’s in excellent condition with no dinks, scratches or damage.

It would make an excellent Xmas present for an aspiring Bass Student. It would also be  ideal as a back up Bass, although I’d be happy to Gig all night with this due to it’s light weight and short scale now I’m in my dotage.

This is the Matte, Weathered Black version, which tends not to attract finger marks as much as a gloss finish does, plus the all black hardware looks very cool.

Usual Ibanez build quality, everything works as it should The weight is an ultra shoulder friendly 2.8Kg, or just a tad over 6lbs ‘in old money’ so combined with the short scale makes this a very easy to play Bass.

The combination of the P & J pickups with their individual volume and master tone controls provide a vast array of sounds from Old School thump through to modern Hi - Fi tones.

Can post to the U.K. Mainland only - sorry, at cost original Ibanez box included but will also be ‘double boxed’ for safety in transit.

  9. Chris bought a cab from me a couple of years ago and this is the very Bass he brought with him to try it out. Well, it sounded incredible in my humble opinion, plus the build quality was superb.

He is a great Guy to deal with and a credit to BC. If only I didn’t have hands like shovels & tend to struggle with shorties, I would be all over this like a shot.

GLWTS Chris, but I’m sure you won’t need it👍👍
